Sniffspot's private dog parks are the best way to exercise your dog. We have the best variety and the best priced dog parks anywhere!
Large field meets a forested area. Walk behind house to find creek. Please, DO NOT enter fenced dog area. This area is for private boarding and dog day care use only. Thank you.
Open running area. Big dogs can easily be separated from small dogs and both can still run. Sun but ample shade if needed. Park like setting.
Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. There are two driveways onto the property. You want the north one with the sign "Ericksen." After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Please do not enter the farmhouse yard. The residents of the farmhouse are not the sniffspot hosts. For any questions, issues, or suggestions about how I can improve this spot, please drop me a message or call me, Annika, at 253-346-5863. New: accepting donations for COMPOST, like leaves, lawn clippings, pumpkins, newspaper, fruit/veg peels, coffee grounds, annual plants including tomatoes, used potting soil, tree trimmings, etc. You'll see the compost receptacle as you come up the driveway.
Natural pasture with beautiful view of the cascade foothills and an amazing place to access the Snoqualmie River. Your furbaby will have so much space to frolic and just be a dog. It’s adjacent to my other 32 acres being used for duck pond and wetland. There are spots in the fence where they could run through but the property is surrounded by acres of farmland so nothing to worry about. No other domestic dogs are allowed on the property only one guest at a time. You and your furbaby will get 21.6 acres with river access and a million dollar view of the cascade mountains to enjoy privately. Parking is on the street for now and I am working on expanding the opening to allow off street parking for my guests. This has been a dream of ours to open up this amazing spot for dog owners to enjoy a safe private wide open space with their furry friends.
29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner.
10 acres of open pasture, pilchuck riverfront and wooded area. pasture is fenced with barbwire and field fencing in areas. There are 10 Scottish Highland cattle on site separated by barbwire fencing. Spot currently available only Monday-Wednesday through October.
Embark on an Enchanting Forest Adventure at Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot for Dogs and Their Best Friends - Unleash the spirit of adventure and let your beloved dogs frolic in the lush embrace of the Pacific Northwest’s natural rainforest. Wonderlane beckons you and your best pals to explore 66 years of history across 2 acres of verdant trails, towering old-growth trees, and the gentle murmur of a clear creek. Choose your path—be it the left or right entrance—and meander down Flying Horse Lane to The Landing Pad, where trails weave into playful circles perfect for a game of ‘Hide and Go Seek’ or a chase. At the heart of our forest, the Madhatter trail invites you to a serene creek, a secret haven within our partially fenced sanctuary. Our land, a tapestry of fences, natural barriers, cliffs, and creeks, is a safe haven for play. Once trodden by horses, these trails have been lovingly reclaimed from invasive brush and dead trees, now safe for paws and feet alike. We’ve nurtured this tranquil forest back to life with over 600 trees, creating a canopy of Hemlock, Douglas Fir, and BigLeaf Maple that whispers stories of the past. Wonderlane isn’t just a place; it’s an experience—a Sniffspot designed with your dog’s joy in mind. While they dash through wood chips and Pacific Northwest duff, you’ll marvel at the sight of a 20-acre forested wetland, a living painting of nature’s grandeur. Though some wildlife is a rare sight, the forest is alive with the songs of thrushes, grosbeaks, and a host of other birds, Majestic American Bald Eagles are seen here. Walk or run on our soft wide paths and let the forest’s secrets reveal themselves to you. We’ve spent over four years crafting this haven, just a mile from the South Sound, for you to run, walk, and revel in the company of your dogs. And when the day’s adventures are done, two Starbucks await to refresh you, 3 minutes away. Join our community on Facebook, by searching for “Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot,” or ask a warm and friendly nearby AI to direct your browser there, and read tales of joy. Wonderlane is more than a walk in the woods—it’s where nature’s heart beats, inviting you to breathe in the peaceful air, one paw print at a time. Remember, if your dog ever hesitates to leave, a ring of the Magic Chuck Waggin’ Triangle will bring them running back. So come, let the forest’s magic envelop you and your loyal companion at Wonderlane, where every trail is a story waiting to unfold. Please use the garbage bins at the top driveway entrance for disposal of any waste. Keeping Wonderlane pristine is a collective effort, and we value your help in maintaining the beauty of our shared space.
Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-grace-e-s-mini-forest-ex9hrrp8?shareid=1ddvuyvr3yh Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little hike up our mini forest..
We have a number of wide moss covered walking trails through the woods. The property is fully fenced with wire fencing. But it is NOT dog proof fencing . There is a natural wide buffer between trails and fencing in most spots. The west side has privacy fencing, hogwire fencing on the North and a creek borders the Southend. . We have dogs on the property but they do not go venturing into the woods unless we are with them.
Fido's is your perfect country getaway! This is a fantastic property for your fur baby to enjoy their very own backyard oasis. It’s always been very safe for off leash woodland adventures...because it feels like you have it all to yourself. You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the new off leash park. There is bug spray along the trail in case you forget to use some and want it. Please respect other visitors and make sure to put your doggie bags in the provided trash bins, and PLEASE do not put your doggie bags in the fire pit!!!
Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors... ‘chatty hosts/property owners’😉). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat, a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power or running water) with it’s own private entrance. Two grassy sloping yard areas with “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill. Secluded, native woodland with mowed grass. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens. During your visit, feel free to pick blueberries, wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse could happen before we can arrange for it to be replaced.
A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available as well. Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. (update 4/25/24 - I was just down at the beach today and the most recent storms we had knocked down the bottom step. The hand railing is still up and there's a perfectly placed tree trunk to replace the stairs but you'll have about a 2 ft step instead of normal height stairs. It should be easily jumpable by dogs and totally doable for you if you've already been able to do the rest of the stairs. I hope to fix this in the next week or two but wanted to make sure it was fully disclosed before you visit) As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry.
22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. If you follow the power line trail to the left, then follow it up the hill to the forest on the other side, there is another trail that enters the forest. This is all state forest and not easily accessible to the public. This trail will lead you to the top of the mountain on your right. Hiking this round trip will take about 2 hours. Approx 5 miles and 900 feet elevation gain. If interesting in doing this hike please ask me for details.
In the back, private corner of our property is a beautiful pond perfect for water-loving dogs! Feel free to throw a ball or just sit at the picnic table while your dog enjoys swimming around or rolling around in the sand. We do board horses (one of which is within the fence adjacent to the open pond area), so we ask that you have a good recall for your dog. If you're a first timer here, we can keep an eye out and move the nearest horse if it becomes an issue. We also have a perimeter trail around our property that you're welcome to use. This does pass by many more horses, so not reccomended if your dog wants to chase horses. I'm new to this, so any constructive criticism is welcomed!
Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (note: during summer months the creek is muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing or barbed wire (see pictures). The gate at the end of the gravel path begins your off-leash experience! Once inside, you'll have the option to take a left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Given this is an active farm with chickens and ducks free ranging we do ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash until you are behind the Sniffspot gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed as well. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Family
Many acres of hilly wooded trails to get lost in and an active stream to get a drink from. You can wander for awhile and not cross over your own tracks. But try not to actually get lost. If you see a house, turn around. Watch for deer, coyotes, owls, etc. Long pants and closed toe shoes are recommended.
Welcome! 🐶 Where Tails Tell Tales of Pure Joy! Our spacious backyard is entirely enclosed, featuring ample room and direct water access to Lake Fenwick! Enjoy seating beneath the deck, offering shelter from both the sun and rain. Overall, it is the perfect place for your pup to roam around freely! Additional info: 🚗Parking: Private parking lot & street parking 🚪Entrance: Gate on the left side of the house (near the huge large tree) 💐Dogs can explore both the front and back yard. The front yard is fully fenced except for the front driveway gate which the guests are welcome to close if they like. The backyard is fully fenced (better for small dogs). 🎾Toys & Supplies: Plastic Container by the table 💧 Water: Fresh water is provided 🗑Garbage: Trash bin near the table ✨ Lights: Currently, we don't recommend booking after sunset since we haven't put up sufficient lighting up yet, but we will soon! Have fun!🩷
Once an organic diversified farm it is now being converted to pasture and hay fields. It is nestled on the banks of the Snoqualmie River with tributaries flowing through the farm so lots of opportunities for fun times and lots of running and sniffing.
Come on over and let your dogs run, with Puget Sound salt water access right on the property. Rental Includes the use of our 2 kayaks. Unfenced, but we have a few dog tie out lines around the property if you need them.
Our 20 acre farm is on the end of a dirt road. It is very secluded, yet close to town. With all of our farm animals, your dog will have a blast exploring. Barker creek divides our property and half and provides a scenic view and a fun swim for your doggie. You may want to bring towels for the car ride home if you have a swimmer!
5 acre property away from road. Deep in the woods. A fully fenced pasture made for big dogs to run, play and rest. Includes XL dog house, raised platform with ramp, live stock tank for water, pull toys. Gate accesses trails that meander through woods to medium sized pond with wildlife.
We are Closed for the season so follow us on Facebook or TikTok for open dates ;) Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN THE 2 HOUR WINDOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. WE BLOCK OUT ALL DAY BOOKINGS FOR SNIFFSPOT APPOINTMENTS. Check out our website, insta and FB page for more photos too! Happy Sniffing!!
We live about 3 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on.
Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 100 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. The parking area can only be located where it is to protect the ecology of Little Ames Creek. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot.
