The yard is L-shaped and largely grass, with a wooden deck at the side of the house that is shaded and has tables and chairs. There are plants in in-ground planters as well as pots. I have indoor cats that may pop up in the windows, and my neighbor has two dogs and two indoor-outdoor cats that can be sometimes seen out front. Plenty of street parking.

Lovely grassy play area has many trees and seating. The shade from the trees in the afternoon is lovely. We are the longest running SS in the area- hosting doggies since 2020! The Sniffspot play area is from driveway to rear of property. A row of chairs semi-blocks Hosts area of backyard belongings, but it is not a problem for doggoes or hoomans to temporarily go there to sniff, pee and fetch balls. The drought, popularity & watering restrictions do affect the condition of the grass. The rest of the yard is not accessible to Sniffspot including using the bathroom. Fenced backyard area is along side street. Most of the 4-foot fence side street side is covered with privacy slats & landscaping. The chain-link driveway entrance only has privacy slats. You would be the only guest for your booked time. Please securely latch & rechain gate when arriving & departing. Refer to photos. Play music or enjoy the beautiful noises of all the birds. Awesome porch! Fun, Clean, peaceful, and eco-friendly. Please check the weather for Los Angeles during the summer! Silverlake / Rampart Village Private Dog Park

Fully fenced backyard by Sunset Blvd in Silverlake. Close to DTLA, Hollywood, etc. Large backyard area with astroturf grass, area with mulch dirt, etc. There’s 3 levels so it’s a great place for dogs to run and jump around. Plenty of shade from trees and lounge chair seating for the pup’s humans. Please keep in mind: there are a number of stairs to get to the backyard area (see pictures!). The backyard also has levels that are not fenced and there are different types of terrain in the spot (astroturf, rocks, dirt, etc).

Barbara's Orchard

A beautiful, spacious orchard where dogs can run freely while humans relax on the outdoor couch. Dog toys are available, and in summer there is a doggie pool. Two elevated dog beds are provided for resting and cooling off. A doggie water bowl is available, with easy access to water for refills if needed. A poop scoop and trash can are also provided for convenience. Please note: dogs are not allowed on the couch. The couch is for humans only. Please uncover it before sitting. Thank you for helping keep the space clean and comfortable for everyone. Evening visits are not advised, as lighting is limited. There are a few motion lights along the fence and a nearby streetlight that helps somewhat, but it may not provide enough visibility for everyone.

There’s doggy furniture, toys, and outdoor seating for the humans to relax while the pups play. We’ve also strung warm lights across the entire backyard, making it a magical spot for evening visits. Plus, we provide treats and essentials to make your dog’s visit extra special! Please Note: • Our doggy fountain is currently leaking and not holding much water so it won’t be full during your visit till it’s repaired. We have several water bowls set up to make up for it. • You may hear a baby during your visit — our home is shared with a little one, so guests must be comfortable with the occasional baby sounds. • To keep things enjoyable and safe for everyone, we’re limiting the number of people per booking to 4.
