Offering a fully fenced off leash yard for dogs and their humans for playing and stretching their legs before or after the ferries or just island cruising and for some ppl who don’t want to deal with too much civilization. There’s a picnic table with room to sit in the shade or out of the weather, accompanied by power source to plug in your phone etc should you have your own charging device. A clock will be hung from the corner to keep folks apprised of the weather temp the time and the date. The field is spacious, grassy, and fully enclosed, making it ideal for exercise, training, or simply letting your dog stretch their legs. Easy parking is available right at the entrance for convenient access. While the field is visible from the road, there are no visible animals nearby, making it a calm and distraction-free space for most dogs. Neighbourhood note: A Department of National Defence rifle range operates nearby on Wallace Drive, and occasional training sounds may sometimes be heard. Our dogs, farm animals, and most visiting dogs are comfortable with this environment, but very noise-sensitive dogs may find this challenging. Bathroom available on site is now located in an outhouse close to where you park your car. Please let us know if it needs cleaning it is checked throughout the day. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There is a barn hose if you need water text or call glenn 2508962860. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs. Please keep dogs leashed until you are in the designated enclosed area. There is a 30 minute gap between bookings so you dont run into a dog leaving the field. Blackberry bushes and prickly vegetation grow around some outer edges, so please supervise dogs that like to push into brush. The ground is natural and may be uneven, wet or slippery following rain. Fallen branches, wildlife and other normal outdoor conditions may occasionally be present. 🐦🐿️ The lowest fencing is approximately 4 feet high. This field may not be suitable for dogs that can jump, climb or escape over a 4-foot fence. 👀 PRIVACY AND DISTRACTIONS Our family dogs do not enter the Sniffspot field during confirmed reservations. They may occasionally be seen or heard from our separate family yard or house. Dogs, people, cyclists, vehicles and other animals may also sometimes be seen or heard outside the property. This is a good option for dogs that benefit from private space but can tolerate occasional sights and sounds. It is not a completely visually or audibly isolated location. 💧 SELF-SERVE AMENITIES The water, pool, toy, waste and seating areas are self-serve. Medium Yard for Dogs in Coquitlam (No Escape Artists!)

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Figured I'd give this a try since I have such a nice, big, relatively unused backyard! I'm describing it as medium to be conservative, it's about 2500 sqft, give or take. Newly planted fruit trees around the perimeter of the yard along with other fruiting plants including a monstrous blackberry bush that straddles the adjacent property. Warning that there may be spiky vines on the edges of the property! *MAY 2026 UPDATE* The enormous property straddling bramble is GONE, as per the owner's wishes. So while the risk of spikes has gone down, the wall of privacy it created on the left side of the yard is also gone. Less privacy than before, but the neighbors do not own a dog. I hope disturbances are low with this new arrangement! PLUS it's summer, so there are raspberries and blackberries aplenty! But other than that, it's a wide open backyard, with some late day shade provided by the pine trees. The fence is a classic metal chain link, with only the entrance to the yard (more of a baby gate) and one divot in the back that a crafty (but small) canine could squeeze through (I've only ever seen cats use it tho), which is why I titled it "No Escape Artists!". Otherwise with the picnic table provided, it's easy to grab a seat, play with your pets, or just let them explore while you chill! Whole yard is in eyesight (except under the Pine trees). Lots of room for your dog to run and explore. It is fully fenced and a fence splitting the front and backyard. The backyard has big open spaces as well as lots of trees and bushes near the fence to explore. A tree did fall on part of the fence in back left corner but has lots of over growth it would be hard to get out (my dog has not been able to). There is also an inground pool that is not fully fenced in but can sit and watch your dog swim or join them :) If you would like to use the pool, please give me a day or 2 notice as i will make sure the cover is off and skimmed, etc. The front yard is quite large as well with a gate at the driveway to close to have it fully fenced. I do have chickens but they are fully fenced in. There are tenants upstairs who have a dog but will be aware when you are using the property.
