🌿 Creekside Acres – 5+ Acre Private Dog Park in Oregon City

A peaceful, private space where dogs can run, sniff, and explore freely. Spring is one of our favorite seasons—the creek is flowing, the pasture is green, and many guests return again and again to experience it. We are a rural, outdoor property designed for dogs who need room to run, sniff, and decompress. Please note it is partially fenced and bordered by foliage and Abernathy Creek. Other Animals & Activity: • No other dogs are present on the property. • Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. • The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. • Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Terrain may include: • Uneven ground • Natural holes or divots • Sloped areas • Tall grass and seasonal vegetation • Mud depending on weather • Rocks, roots, and other natural features • Wildlife and insects Guests should wear appropriate footwear and supervise dogs at all times. Farm Equipment: Farm equipment may be present on the property. Please stay off all equipment. Booking & Access: Access is limited to your booked time only. No early arrivals or extended stays. Creek Access: Abernathy Creek runs along part of the property and may be accessible to dogs throughout the pasture. Please note: • Creek banks may be steep or uneven • Owner access to the creek may be limited in certain areas • Water depth and flow vary depending on season and rainfall Creek access is generally easier for dogs; human access may be difficult. If your dog is likely to enter the water, they should have reliable recall and be comfortable navigating natural terrain. Owners must supervise their dogs near the creek at all times. Health & Safety Reminder: Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations. By booking, guests acknowledge that this is a working rural property with natural outdoor conditions and accept responsibility for their dogs and themselves.

Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies.  There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. A porta potty for your convenience. Multiple poop depots throughout the park with bag dispensers. Two water play areas one is shallow to help pups to acclimate comfortably to water play. The other is the larger man-made pond area. The larger pond area has a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. A large selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval are nearby. A Muddy Paw Spa to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. For those concerned about blue green algae, a bulletin board showing a test kit that can be purchased through Amazon. Test takes 15 minutes, with 99% accuracy. Next to it is an area to post the initials of the tester, date, time, and results of the test for other guests to see. Any guest doing this will be given an extra 15 minutes to the end of their reservation time on us. Please let us know in advance if you decide to do the test. For reasons to detailed to get into now, there’s never been an issue with blue green algae at Tail Waggers. A comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

Hi yall, We hope you’ll enjoy our back yard as much as our dogs do. My wife and I run and manage our spot. Our area here is in a small neighborhood with little to no traffic. You can access the entrance through the left side of the house. Just push the gate and it should open easily. As for parking there is a guest area right in front of the house but the drive way can be used to park if there is no parking available. There will be a smaller little fence that can be closed but you can leave it open as well. We will provide some toys and of course balls so you can play with your dogs free of charge. We additionally have snacks and water if needed. There are poop bags as well. You can find these items on the deck and please feel free to sit down and enjoy a nice seat. Our back yard will have trees with plenty of shade and a large area for the dogs to run around. Some areas of the yard are muddy but it is mostly grassy. If you head down to the property you will find a stream with a sandy beach and an old bench. The stream is only accessible through our property but not fully fenced off due to the running water. But it is a secluded area where your dogs will not be able to run off.

Sassy Fox Farm

23 beautiful acres with amazing views of the valley below. Good mix of fields woodlands short and long grass. A small creek runs thru the property. This is a small private homestead, we do have goats, chickens and ducks. Also a flower garden and fruit and nut trees. The front part of the property is fenced, but the rest of the acreage is not. We also have 2 doggy poop stations for you to dispose of all the gifts your pooch may leave behind. At the top of the hill there are 2 Adirondack chairs for you to catch your breath and take in the spectacular view, as well as a seating area in the woods!

The Not So Boring Bark Park

Tucked back off the road is a not so boring field and little wooded area with a creek running through. We saw the magic in it when we bought it in 2024 and decided we wanted to share it with others in 2025. We hope you love it as much as we do 🐶❤️

This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and their families can enjoy it.

Philomath Puppy Park 2.0

Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath city limits, is for dogs of all ages, sizes, and behavior levels. Accessible entry includes parking only a few feet away, with additional parking space for extra large vehicles, including motorhomes or trucks. The large, level field is great for training, play time, or socializing. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, and enjoy the wading pool in warm weather, with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. Reactive dogs are welcome! You are welcome to add fur friends (up to 10 total dogs) and their humans to your reservation! Marys River access for two or four hours is available as an extra from June to September.

Rogue Ranch

Several trails, a shallow creek, and partially wooded. Main loop trail (Rogue Loop) is 0.56 miles in length. The rest of the trails add another 1/2 mile. Access to hose and bowl for fresh water and rinsing off muddy feet (not available when temperatures are below freezing). WiFi available (rogue ranch guest) at the front of property, and cell service throughout. Property can be muddy if it has been/is raining. Recommend boots for humans. Recommend strong recall for dogs visiting or long lead. Bring towels to clean/dry dog feet. Please pick up after your pet and dispense in one of the three waste containers along the trails. Please be respectful of privacy to the occupants in the house!

Come enjoy the outdoors with beautiful views, open areas, forest trails, graveled roads, and a creek. You will park at our xmas tree parking lot where you will start your adventure. There are 2 miles of graveled roads and 6 miles of trails to hike, along with a creek that runs thru the property. You will have cell phone service at the Christmas tree lot area where you will park, but limited cell phone service if you decide to hike around. There are seats at the xmas tree lot, along with water and a garbage can 🐶. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (A dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Important: Please keep an eye out for sniff spot signs and follow them carefully to reach the designated play area. You are encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway infront of the fence. Reality alert: Most folks already understand this and really enjoy bringing their dog here to play but for those that may not be as familiar we really want to make sure that you understand the environment that you will experience when you come to our sniff spot. It is very likely that the following could occur: 1)Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility 2)See a farmer working 3)See livestock share a fence line (Yes you can say hello to them) 4)Find mud in the wet season, no creek in the dry season 5)Alge in the pond when the water is not flowing and weeds in the field 6)We work towards keeping the main area of the field free of blackberries and weeds that poke by mowing but do not guarantee a weed free environment 7)The creek and pond are spring fed but there is always a chance of picking something up in nature 8)Your dog is welcome to dig and carry sticks and rocks. Be aware there may be holes, sticks or rocks 9)There is a dock that has no problem supporting my family on the pond but makes no promise to support anyone. You are welcome to use it but understand that is at your own risk and judgment. 10)The pond has gradual sloping sides on over half the pond but there are sections where it is steep. 11)We really don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place like we, do but also don't want people to expect something that is maybe not a reality. Mitchell 40 Acre Parcel - Spot 2

Beautiful secluded 40 acre piece of vacant forested land, with a creek that winds thru the length of the property. There is a well maintained gravel hiking road the stretches the length of the property and is approx a 3/4 of a mile long and crosses the Creek. There are Hiking trails run along both sides of the gravel road, with several additional hiking trails that cross and run along the creek and meander thru the woods (bring your hiking shoes :).

Please reserve your time a minimum of an hour ahead of time. We are a working farm and can't always be checking the app. We have logging roads and fields open to dog owners. Enjoy our scenic 120-acre farm with your puppies. Please feel free to leave a review. The landscape is unmanicured and slightly wild with quail, rabbits, and deer frequenting the area daily. A new forest has been planted, and the baby trees we ask to be left at peace to grow. We might be out working somewhere else on the farm and hope to see the blackberries slowly diminish, making this place more hospitable every year.

Private Dog Park by the Creek

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres near Mt. Scott Creek: Just 5 minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre enclosed field offers open space, rolling hills, and the serene Mt. Scott Creek meanders through the property. The creek flows year-round—its levels dip in summer—and there are several spots where pups can wade and cool off on warm days. Please note: the creek is not fenced at both ends. Our field is pesticide-free and treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to sanitize and keep it free of pests. The creekside can be muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry year-round. A beautiful 1/4 acre fully fenced private yard in SW Portland near Hayhurst Elementary. Fresh woodchip path all the way around the yard. Dogs can dig in the creek, run around the large fenced yard, and bark at squirrels that run along the fence. Located on a quiet, dead end road, parking is street only. This is an active permaculture farm, so expect compost piles, garden equipment, and slightly uneven ground.
