Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies. There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. The 2nd is at the top of the hill b4 you go down into valley were you will see a sign letting you know that if your early you can park there till your designated reservation time. At the bottom you will find a porta potty for your convenience with a lighted pathway after the sun has set. For your convenience you will find seven Poop Depots with bag dispensers throughout the park. A guest ( Mark) donated a fire hydrant as a much appreciated pee station for many pups. There are two water play areas. The preferable one is now down by our inlet water pipes. Its a shallow pool area feed by spring water, so there is no concern about algae. We call it the pup self wash area because it’s only belly deep and is an absolute favorite of the pups to play in. It’s also proved to help pups who might be afraid or timid of playing in water to investigate it a little more. The other is the larger man-made pond area. This at one time was a large beautiful pond, that we had invested a large amount of money to development a Doggie Dock Dive. We had also a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. It included a selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval were nearby. All that however became unusable because our neighbor who controls the water level with a dam did not like us having a private dog park and said if we didn’t shut it down he would just empty the pond, which he ultimately did and mow as a result has become a mud flat. We have a solution that will bring the level back up and have set up a Go Fund Me to help us with that expense. Any donation would receive a gift certificate to show our appreciation. They can use it for their own use or it can be given to a non Sniff Spot member to use at our park for various functions. Our Muddy Paw Spa has multiple cleaning brushes, paw wash cups, a spray hose and the more favorite is a water spray wash glove that sprays water out of the palm of the glove. This is an important option especially during our monsoon season to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. In the area where you see all the picnic tables, you will see a Doggie Dig Box filled with beach sand for those pups who have the need to just dig. Near to that is an upright 50 Pd “Tug of War” that big pups love. Next is a childrens play area to play in and on. We installed a tetherball for the children, but soon learned that the pups love playing with it, who would have guessed? Down from the children’s play area is a comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Love seeing the pups racing around that. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

Private Dog Park by the Creek

Partially Fenced
1 acre

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres Near Mt. Scott Creek IMPORTANT: Fresh tap water is not available in the dog field across the creek, and water bowls are not provided. If you prefer that your dog not drink from the creek, please bring your own drinking water and bowl. Just five minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre field offers plenty of open space, rolling hills, and access to peaceful Mt. Scott Creek. The creek flows year-round, although the water level drops during summer, and several areas allow dogs to wade and cool off on warm days. Please be aware that the creek is not fenced at either end, so this spot may not be suitable for dogs likely to follow the creek beyond the property. We do not use conventional chemical pesticides. The field is treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to help control pests. The creekside can become muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry throughout the year. Please bring: • Drinking water for your dog • Your own water bowl • A towel during wet or muddy weather Because the property is large, dog waste can easily be missed. Please keep track of where your dog goes and pick up all waste after. Complimentary waste bags are provided, with one trash bin near the creek and another in the upper field. Other Animals & Activity: • No other dogs are present on the property. • Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. • The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. • Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Terrain may include: • Uneven ground • Natural holes or divots • Sloped areas • Tall grass and seasonal vegetation • Mud depending on weather • Rocks, roots, and other natural features • Wildlife and insects Guests should wear appropriate footwear and supervise dogs at all times. Farm Equipment: Farm equipment may be present on the property. Please stay off all equipment. Booking & Access: Access is limited to your booked time only. No early arrivals or extended stays. Creek Access: Abernathy Creek runs along part of the property and may be accessible to dogs throughout the pasture. Please note: • Creek banks may be steep or uneven • Owner access to the creek may be limited in certain areas • Water depth and flow vary depending on season and rainfall Creek access is generally easier for dogs; human access may be difficult. If your dog is likely to enter the water, they should have reliable recall and be comfortable navigating natural terrain. Owners must supervise their dogs near the creek at all times. Mookie's Magic Meadows

Fully Fenced
2 acres

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Please take pictures of your beautiful happy dogs and share here! Let's make other dogs and humans know there is a safe place to play! Thank you and we look forward to making dogs happy so that they can live their best lives! Additional note. WE have two safe yards (Never booked at the same time) completely fenced. The entry is also securely fenced. I need advanced notice if you wish to use the additional yard as it is close to my house. Your action of closing the gate upon entry and exit keep all dogs safe. Thank you all for your consideration! Come VIsit us at Mookie's Magic Meadows for a Magically fun time!

Furry Fellows Field Fully Fenced, Easy Parking, Open Barn & Private Entrance

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Reviews with photo's may be posted onto our Instagram! @furryfellowsniffspot 📸 We're a great option if you want a peaceful and private place to relax at. There is plenty to sniff for the pups and we maintain the field regularly in the spring/summer to keep the grass short. What we offer: ✅ Large fully fenced field. ✅ Dedicated guest parking area for easy parking and multiple cars (can fit 2-3 cars depending on vehicles sizes). ✅ Private entrance straight to the sniffspot. ✅ Open barn for shade and shelter from rain and wind. ✅ Picnic tables that can seat 12 with 3 extra chairs. ✅ Waste bags, large 💩 scooper and multiple trash stations for easy clean up and disposal. ✅ 5 gallon distilled bottled water jug for dogs and water bottles for humans.(Water is not available during freezing conditions). ✅ Regularly maintained field in spring/summer ✅ Frisbee golf basket and discs, picnic blanket, kids playhouse and other outdoor games available in the summer 🌞 ✅ Quick 💩 pickups! we appreciate when guests let us know if they see any poo piles so we can take care of them as quickly as possible :) 🐾 On RARE occasions our neighbor’s new puppy has wandered near the Sniffspot. The area is fully fenced and secure so he cannot enter on his own. He is young, extremely friendly, and very docile; some guests have even chosen to let him in to play with their dogs. Again his visits are very uncommon (only 3 guest interactions out of 1,300+ visits), and if it does occur during your visit his collar includes our neighbor’s contact information so they can be reached directly. If you have questions or concerns feel free to send us a message :) Frequently asked questions Q: What are the berries the tree's drop in the sniffspot? A: Hawthorn berries! Q: Do you have toys at your location? A: Unfortunately we do not offer toys at our sniffspot due to frequent replacement being costly, this choice helps us to keep our price low. Occasionally we will have them available thanks to donations from guests in our small dog community to share with others but it is not guaranteed. *EDITS* 5/28/2024* By request we've made some improvements on making this spot more small dog friendly by filling in noticeable gaps under our fences and gates! 6/4/2024* We've ordered supplies to update sagging area's in fencing and added water bowls. 9/16/2024* Gate lock has been fixed. 6/30/2025 2 more doggy waste stations have been ordered to add to the park. 7/20/2025 Doggy waste stations have been installed and active wasps nest have also been taken care of. A water jug station will also be added to have more water jugs available for guests to replace with fresh ones once emptied. 10/15/2025 Mulch has been ordered, we plan on slowly topping up mulched area's as needed throughout the fall and winter months. 4/6/2025 Picnic tables have been ordered to acco large groups, we plan to have them setup by 4/17. We've also added the birthday pawty extra for larger get togethers with dogs.

PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO IF THEY'RE MEETING YOU HERE. THANK YOU!!! upon entering into either park, you won't be able to see people or dogs in F2 while you are in F1. Proud to be Sniffspots most popular park(s) with the most reviews. Read about us in the February 27, 2024 issue of Newsweek magazine, June 5, 2023 issue of Womens World Magazine, and the Business Insider's June 9, 2022 articles. You and your pups will love our very artistic boho farm! Mud free paved entrance and patio, extra picnic table, chairs and tables, swing, toys, night lighting til 10pm, light up collars/leashes upon request, disc golf basket, clean porta potty access, doggie poop bags hanging all around the field w/disposal cans! There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. So, just ask if you'd also be interested in using the farm for your own special event! We've had tons of doggie play date and birthday parties here. Just inquire first letting me know how many cars there'd be. If too many cars for F1, then F2 will work out during dry months, as you can drive your cars right into the field. Hope to see you and your pups playing out here soon! We try very hard to remain the #1 spot between both parks, globally. Thank you for helping us achieve that by continuing to support us!! Combined we are now almost 6K reviews!

Holly's 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Newberg

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

We are located in the middle of wine country. This is a previous horse pasture, so the ground is uneven. Humans should not run in the field. The field is on Hwy 240, so there is traffic noise. The neighbor's fence is 40 feet away from the park's perimeter so there is no contact possible with other dogs. Bring water. I do not provide water because shared water bowls can spread many diseases. Two chairs are under the apple tree .

Tail Waggers private dog park

Unfenced
15 acres

Spirit Farm and Gardens

Fully Fenced
1 acre

The outdoor space is available during daylight hours. Indoor space is available as an add-on and recommended for evening visits or during inclement weather. This is a 5-acre farm, with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is fully enclosed on three sides, with the 4th wall solid up to 5 feet keeping the wind and weather out and the dogs safe and fully enclosed during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the blue handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie kiddie pool. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. YOU MUST MESSAGE me before the visit to be sure it is ready for you. That space is in an area marked private property. Access is granted when the indoor space is reserved as an add on. We are excited to have you come and share this special place with us.o

Please understand the fee is nominal (for us) when it comes to the extra cost of chemicals and the timely maintenance after each individual visit to make doggie swims possible. ✨🐶✨ Looking for pup loving clients who appreciate the privacy and luxury of a private oasis space that can, highly recommended, include swimming! 🐶😎🐶

AS YOU KNOW, WE TRY HARD TO KEEP THE PARKS UPDATED AND COMFORTABLE FOR EVERYONE, TWO AND FOUR FOOTED. THANKS FOR YOUR LOYALTY AND SUPPORT! WE APPRECIATE IT! OPEN SUNUP TO 10P NIGHTLY! VERY IMPORTANT!!! EACH PARK (F1 AND F2) HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE AND DRIVEWAY WITH THE SAME ADDRESS. SO, YOU MUST READ THE SPECIFIC DRIVING DIRECTIONS INTO EACH PARK.

55This is definitely a hidden gem! Our dogs loved exploring and smelling around the wood piles and up into the little wooded area closer to the road. I would recommend wearing close toed shoes here. I also noted a few small gaps under the fence at the very back of the property that a small escape artist could probably squeeze under, but it was no problem for our bigger dogs. Overall fantastic enrichment spot, and we will definitely be back!

55This is a seriously great Sniffspot. The fencing seems pretty strong and consistent and there’s a ton of stuff for my dog to investigate. I could actually lose him here. He was tired from all the big hills and roaming. It’s mostly hilly, not flat, but there’s also a variety. I expect there will be some shade in the hotter months too. My only request is for restroom access, like portapotty. It’s a long drive for me and I wouldn’t mind paying a couple extra dollars and staying a little longer.

55Our dogs had a great time exploring the Sniffspot. We plan to return. Recommend to bring water. Our dogs were thirsty from all the running around. We booked for 1.5 hours. There is a lot of property to explore. Normally our dogs are ready to leave after one hour. With this Sniffspot they wanted to explore longer. Recommend wearing boots as there is mud. Next time, we will bring trekking poles as some of the mud on the slopes is slippery.

55we enjoyed this spot! fencing was secure for my 50 lb dog and it was a great place to work on recall given the large space and the tree piles that blocked me from my dogs view. she enjoyed aaaalllll of the sniffs and the bit of mud (this is definitely a place to wear boots!) and was thoroughly tuckered out by the end of our visit.

55SUUUUPER fun spot for my dogs! There is so much to sniff and jump on and run around, I’ll actually be sad once all the cleanup is done. This field is on a decline, and there’s lots of varied ups and downs and dips and bends, so you do need to follow your dog around to make sure you can see them to pick up poop; there’s lots of piles of brush for them of hide behind. It’s also very muddy at the first level from parking, my dogs love that and I have no issues with them getting muddy. Often sniff spots claim 5 acre and the fenced spot is much smaller, but it feels like this field is much larger than advertised. Super pleased and will return to let my girls let loose.

Frequently asked questions about Scotts Mills dog parks

Are there dog parks in Scotts Mills for reactive dogs?

Yes! Scotts Mills has 435 private dog parks specifically designed for reactive, anxious, or dog-selective pets. Unlike public dog parks where unexpected encounters can trigger your reactive dog, Sniffspot offers completely private bookings. That means only you and your dogs will be there. We enforce 30-minute buffers between visits so you won't run into other park users when arriving or leaving. This makes Scotts Mills Sniffspots perfect for reactive dogs who need safe off-leash exercise.

How many private dog parks are in Scotts Mills?

Scotts Mills has 435 private Sniffspot locations ranging from cozy backyard spaces to expansive properties spanning 24+ acres. You'll find fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and dog fields options, each offering complete privacy during your reserved time. Browse listings to compare sizes, amenities, fencing, and reviews from other Scotts Mills dog owners.

Are Scotts Mills dog parks friendly for all dog types?

Absolutely! Scotts Mills Sniffspot locations work for every type of dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer away from large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space to run, and yes, reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. Because bookings are completely private, you can customize the experience to your dog's specific needs—whether that's careful puppy introductions or stress-free exercise for nervous dogs.

Will there be other dogs at Scotts Mills dog parks?

No, that's what makes Sniffspot different from public dog parks! We only allow one booking at a time, and host dogs must be kept away during your visit. When you book a Scotts Mills dog park, you have the entire space to yourself (plus any dog-owning friends you invite). This privacy is crucial for reactive dogs, puppies in training, or any dog who needs space from other animals.

What makes Scotts Mills dog parks safe for anxious dogs?

Scotts Mills Sniffspot locations provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. There are no aggressive dogs, no inattentive owners, and no unexpected encounters that could traumatize anxious or fearful dogs. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars, with many highlighting how safe their reactive or anxious dogs felt.

Can puppies use Scotts Mills dog parks?

Absolutely! Scotts Mills dog parks are ideal for puppy socialization because they provide controlled, distraction-free environments. Puppies can practice recall, build confidence, and explore without the overwhelming chaos of public dog parks. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting any Scotts Mills Sniffspot.

Are Scotts Mills dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Scotts Mills Sniffspot hosts mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're appropriately sized for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs risk being overwhelmed or injured by larger breeds, Scotts Mills private bookings give your small dog the entire space to themselves. Look for secure fencing with minimal gaps and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

What are the requirements for Scotts Mills dog parks?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. Each Scotts Mills host may have additional requirements listed on their booking page. Most welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit traditional public dog parks.
