4th Mesa 7 acre Private Dog Park In Bailey

Fully Fenced
7 acres

10% of profits donated to local SPCA monthly. 7 acres of fenced forest to play on including a hiking trail for the pet owners! There is a switch back trail through the middle of the property marked by tree branches/logs and pink/green flags. Further trail description below the instructions. Best way to find the trail from the gate is to either follow the fence line up to the right all the way to the top of the property or walk straight up the gulley until you see the first green flag. The green flags mark the beginning and end of each switchback. There are 29 rows of switchbacks. Between the green flags there are pink flags to guide you with branches and logs to mark the left and right of each trail. There are a few places where the trail merges which is marked by 2 yellow flags. The last (or first depending on the ascent or descent chosen) trail row has yellow flags that have been colored pink (see pictures at the very end of the collage). It is about a 4 mile round trip hike if you follow the switch backs up then down (or vice versa). For you hiking purists the switchback rows are not perfectly parallel. This was a 3 year manual effort. The more ya’ll hike it the more visible it will be.

Angela's Mountain Paradise

Unfenced
1 acre

Gorgeous, peaceful mountain property. One acre of diverse playing areas. There is a small stream to play in, grass, hills, boulders. Lots of wildlife to watch and listen to. The lot is UNfenced, so it is recommended to stay close to your dog while they become familiar with the property. Our dogs will always be inside with shades drawn, but it is a possibility you might hear them bark periodically. There is one neighbor up above on the steep hill that has a dog, that dog is fenced in his yard. The other two neighbors are vacant, so it is a very quiet, very private space :) Reach out with any other questions you may have!

Frequently asked questions about Vail dog parks

Are private dog parks better than public dog parks in Vail?

Yes, private dog parks in Vail eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dog encounters, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments. With Sniffspot's 21 private locations in Vail, you get complete privacy during your booking, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. No more worrying about aggressive dogs or unsafe conditions. 4th Mesa 7 acre Private Dog Park In Bailey and other highly-rated Vail locations consistently receive 5-star reviews for safety and cleanliness.

Are Sniffspot dog parks in Vail safe for all dog types?

Absolutely! Vail Sniffspot locations welcome puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel overwhelmed at public parks, high-energy dogs needing room to run, and reactive dogs requiring privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets exactly the environment they need with no compromises. Whether your dog is friendly, selective, anxious, or anywhere in between, Vail has 21 options to match their temperament.

When can puppies start visiting dog parks in Vail?

Puppies can visit Vail Sniffspot locations as soon as they have age-appropriate vaccinations (typically around 8-10 weeks with their first round of shots). Unlike public dog parks where you'd wait until puppies are fully vaccinated at 16+ weeks, Sniffspot's private bookings eliminate disease risk from unknown dogs. This early, safe socialization in Vail helps prevent fear and reactivity issues later. Many Vail trainers specifically use Sniffspot for puppy development.

How do I find private dog parks near me in Vail?

Browse Vail's 21 private dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your zip code or neighborhood. Filter by distance (within 5, 10, or 25 miles), then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities like fully fenced dog parks or small dog parks. Each Vail listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. 4th Mesa 7 acre Private Dog Park In Bailey is particularly popular among Vail dog owners.

Are Vail dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Vail Sniffspot hosts specifically mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're sized appropriately for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs can be intimidated or injured by larger dogs, Vail private bookings give your small dog the entire space. Filter for secure fencing with no gaps, smaller yard sizes, and hosts who cater to petite pups. Some Vail dog park locations even have separate small dog areas.

What's the difference between Sniffspot and public dog parks in Vail?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Vail mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. You can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 21 Vail locations give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, you get amenities like fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Do Vail dog parks allow senior dogs?

Yes! Vail Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious dogs. Look for Vail spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, easy access, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility. The privacy means your older dog can enjoy off-leash time safely and comfortably.

Can I rent a private dog park in Vail by the hour?

Yes! All 21 Sniffspot locations in Vail are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer if needed. Book instantly through the platform, arrive during your time slot, and have the entire space to yourself. Many Vail dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise for their dogs.
