Kat's spacious oasis In Pueblo West

Fully Fenced
0.06 acres

We are located in the far SW corner of PW, where we literally can see for miles. Our yard is mostly turf with a little bit of pea gravel & two gravel entry pathways. We have a sand beach for digging & dog friendly pet grass for munching as long as the weather holds out. We also have an on site poop disposal that empties directly into our septic system so no messy bags to deal with here!!! Plenty of parking in our cul-de-sac or along the side of our driveway near our Austrian Pines that provide some nice shade. Our gate is a double latching self closing 6’ gate. That gains you entry right from our driveway into our spacious backyard. We occasionally have deer & quail but that is the extend of our wildlife. We have an 8 year old female Greyhound & occasionally foster a greyhound for Colorado Greyhound Adoption so we could have an additional dog or not at any moment in time. They would remain in the house at all times but you could hear them whine upstairs while you are there because they would want to come out and play too. We generally take ours for a walk while you are there enjoying our yard so that you should not be bothered by us.

Frequently asked questions about Pueblo dog parks

Are there dog parks in Pueblo for reactive dogs?

Yes! Pueblo has 163 private dog parks specifically designed for reactive, anxious, or dog-selective pets. Unlike public dog parks where unexpected encounters can trigger your reactive dog, Sniffspot offers completely private bookings. That means only you and your dogs will be there. We enforce 30-minute buffers between visits so you won't run into other park users when arriving or leaving. This makes Pueblo Sniffspots perfect for reactive dogs who need safe off-leash exercise.

How many private dog parks are in Pueblo?

Pueblo has 163 private Sniffspot locations ranging from cozy backyard spaces to expansive properties spanning 157+ acres. You'll find fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and dog agility parks options, each offering complete privacy during your reserved time. Browse listings to compare sizes, amenities, fencing, and reviews from other Pueblo dog owners.

Are Pueblo dog parks friendly for all dog types?

Absolutely! Pueblo Sniffspot locations work for every type of dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer away from large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space to run, and yes, reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. Because bookings are completely private, you can customize the experience to your dog's specific needs—whether that's careful puppy introductions or stress-free exercise for nervous dogs.

Will there be other dogs at Pueblo dog parks?

No, that's what makes Sniffspot different from public dog parks! We only allow one booking at a time, and host dogs must be kept away during your visit. When you book a Pueblo dog park, you have the entire space to yourself (plus any dog-owning friends you invite). This privacy is crucial for reactive dogs, puppies in training, or any dog who needs space from other animals.

What makes Pueblo dog parks safe for anxious dogs?

Pueblo Sniffspot locations provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. There are no aggressive dogs, no inattentive owners, and no unexpected encounters that could traumatize anxious or fearful dogs. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars, with many highlighting how safe their reactive or anxious dogs felt.

Can puppies use Pueblo dog parks?

Absolutely! Pueblo dog parks are ideal for puppy socialization because they provide controlled, distraction-free environments. Puppies can practice recall, build confidence, and explore without the overwhelming chaos of public dog parks. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting any Pueblo Sniffspot.

Are Pueblo dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Pueblo Sniffspot hosts mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're appropriately sized for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs risk being overwhelmed or injured by larger breeds, Pueblo private bookings give your small dog the entire space to themselves. Look for secure fencing with minimal gaps and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

What are the requirements for Pueblo dog parks?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. Each Pueblo host may have additional requirements listed on their booking page. Most welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit traditional public dog parks.
