Alex's 2 Acre Unfenced dog area.
Several acres of land with 2 acres being very accessible. Three large fields and a small hiking trail through the woods that loops around part of the property. I do have three dogs that would be in my house. They bark on occasion, but not typically. Once you’re on the back lawn or in the fields, you’d be far enough away from the house you would not hear any of my dogs and I would not be letting them out during your visit.

Peaceful, Fenced-In Former Goat Pen in Cumberland, ME
Welcome to our quiet, country yard—formerly a goat pen! This fully fenced 3,690 sq. ft. space is located at the end of a dead-end road in beautiful Cumberland, Maine. It’s perfect for dogs who love to sniff, explore, and run off-leash in a peaceful rural setting. The yard is enclosed with a 3-foot-high wire livestock fence (1 ft x 7 in spacing between wires), which offers a safe environment for most dogs, though it may not be suitable for very small pups or high jumpers without supervision. The space is adjacent to a quiet street where neighbors sometimes walk their dogs, so your pup might spot some friendly passersby. Whether your dog wants to romp, relax, or just enjoy some new smells, this spacious and serene spot offers a unique place to play and unwind. Come enjoy the fresh Maine air!

Lots of room to run and play ball or frisbee! Pond can be used by the dogs at your discretion. Pond is not treated or tested but my dogs used to get in it. There are turtles, frogs, geese (please chase the geese away!), ducks and maybe other wildlife at the pond too. Separately there is 40 acres of woods. See the map I drew in the photos. And the photo of the location of the entrance to the woods. If you have questions let me know!

Nonesuch Meadows Farm
Enjoyable farm fields with lots of room for dogs to roam and play. Wildlife does show up at times, anywhere from deer, turkeys, skunks and porcupines. Our main field does abut a golf course, and often get stray balls fly over the fence into our field. To avoid being hit by one, I’d recommend staying more towards the middle to right of the field. During deer season we do require the owner and dog to be wearing orange, and don’t have guests come on Saturdays. We do hay our fields in the summer (May/June-September) time, and once that begins we will set up a schedule with specific areas that can be utilized.

Megan's 5 Acre Lakefront Unfenced Private Dog Park with Lake Access In Acton
🍂 FALL/WINTER UPDATE – 10/8/26 Camp is closing up for the season this weekend! All seasonal amenities, including chairs, docks, and trash cans, will be removed or put away for the winter. Price reduced to $15/hour for fall/winter months! Our Sniffspot will remain OPEN year-round! You're still welcome to enjoy the property, explore the woods, and access the lake with your pup. Just keep in mind that seasonal amenities will no longer be available. IMPORTANT REMINDERS - ABSOLUTELY NO smoking, vaping, open flames, campfires, charcoal grills, or fireworks anywhere on the property. These camps are cherished family properties, and due to shoreline regulations, a camp lost to fire likely could not be rebuilt in its current location. - Chairs and docks: Being put away for winter. You're welcome to bring your own chairs to enjoy the little beach area! - Water: The outdoor spigot will be shut off for winter, so please bring drinking water for yourself and your pup. - Dog waste: Please carry out all dog waste, as trash cans will not be available during the winter months. Please do not use our household trash. If your pup goes well into the woods, you're welcome to leave it there. :) --- 🐾 WELCOME TO OUR LAKESIDE SNIFFSPOT! Open year-round, this private 5+ acre Sniffspot offers plenty of room to roam, explore, and swim on a beautiful peninsula extending into Balch Lake. Park at the top of the hill and enjoy a scenic walk down, giving your pup a true "Sniffari" experience along the way. At the end, you'll be rewarded with peaceful lake views and a wonderful spot for your dog to explore, splash, and play. Prefer not to walk? You're welcome to drive directly down to the lake access area. The property is unfenced but very private, with the peninsula providing a natural barrier and minimal outside traffic. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT - Access road: The road is sand and gravel. Sturdy footwear is recommended if walking. - Road conditions: Rain and seasonal weather can create ruts, and the road is due for grading. - Driving down: SUVs and trucks are recommended. Sedans can typically make it down as well (ours does!), but please use your best judgment, particularly during wet, icy, or snowy conditions. - Lake activity: Balch Lake is shared, so you may see boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and occasionally dogs accompanying boaters on the water. - Sounds across the lake: Sound travels easily over water, so people and dogs may sound much closer than they actually are. - Off-leash safety: As with any unfenced property, please make sure your dog has reliable recall or keep them leashed according to their abilities and your comfort level. - Winter visits: Please plan accordingly, as seasonal amenities will be unavailable and paths, roads, and shoreline areas may be slippery. Whether you're looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat, a woodland adventure, or a place for your dog to burn off some energy, we hope you and your pup enjoy your visit in every season! 🐕🍁
