Welcome to our little dog-friendly retreat! We offer a fully fenced-in play area where pups can safely run, explore, and relax. There is also access to the rest of the yard, but because of nearby traffic, we only recommend venturing outside the fenced area for dogs with reliable recall. On warmer days, dogs can cool off in in the kiddie pool, and we provide plenty of toys for playtime. All toys and water bowls are thoroughly sanitized between visits, and labeled bins are available for used toys to help us keep everything clean for every guest. We do not use pesticides or insecticides anywhere on the property, making the space as natural and pet-safe as possible. However, because we avoid chemical treatments, we cannot guarantee the yard is completely tick-free. Poop bags and a designated waste receptacle are provided, and we kindly ask that everyone clean up after their pup. We also keep bottled water available for humans because both pups and their people deserve to stay hydrated! Our space is especially great for reactive or nervous dogs, and we’re more than happy to accommodate individual needs to help every pup feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free during their visit.

Welcome to Wilde Kind Farm! It’s spring so there are lots of things happening at the farm. From new fencing, upgraded gates, and other projects. Watch our signage board for current conditions, upcoming events and expansion news! Bring your doggos to run and play off-leash in our newly expanded 6 acres of fenced play yard! The dog yard is split into 3 main zones with gates so you can explore while keeping your dog in sight. We have lots of space to explore, toys, and lots of other amenities! Our farm is set on 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. We have multiple areas for your to explore: 1. Our Play Yard welcome area that has a 3 sided shelter with seating. This is where you can grab some poop bags, toys, or request extras like agility equipment, kiddie pools, corn hole, BBQ grill etc. This area also lights up at night. 2. The Wilde Side with lots of paths to explore, a secret garden, native plants, hedges, multiple spots to sit, and a big open meadow. We are working making this area a monarch way station as well! 3. Our new area, Wolf Tree Meadow! Walk behind past the barn towards the hayfield and explore the stone compass circle. Rent the fire ring or use the table and chairs to relax while your dog sniffs to their heart’s content. Please note the entire SS accessible property is fenced. There is a driveway gate, and a second gate to enter our SniffSpot.

This is a long, large space that dogs could run and play in. The side of the house where the entrance is is the same fenced in area as back yard. It is also the entrance to our house so we will let you know if we are home or expecting deliveries. We do have neighbors with dogs that are let out a few times a day but do not spend most of their time in the yards next to ours. We don’t have any dogs ourselves but you will definitely have a kitty audience (we have 5!). Feel free to sit on the steps on the back porch or the chairs around the fire pit, and you can also feel free to fill your dog’s bowl with water from our hose on the side of the house, just please shut it off. :)
