55This place has become our go-to for wearing our dog out on the holidays. Very private area without worrying about intruding on someone's family gathering (since it's not a backyard). Lots to sniff and plenty of room to playAaron V.

55Amazing spot for dogs!! I have a 7 month lab that is very nervous over everything. This let her be off leash, smell new things, and hear cars in the distance. Helped with her confidence.. after 20 minutes of walking around slowly with her tail tucked, she was running around and playing ball. It allows me to have her experience new things in a controlled environment. It is also large enough to help train for recall. Brittni S.

55This was our first SniffSpot adventure. The host's signage and instructions made parking simple and directly next to the entrance gate. Everything you need is right there: water bottles, toys, wet wipes, and inside a waterproof tub therw were towels and a puffy coat along with poop bags. Only my Great Dane pooped so I used the rake to get it into a trash can with a fresh bag. We used the pump and hose to fill the water bowl with fresh water. The pump handle is stiff and you don't have to pull it up all the way to have enough water pressure to fill the bowl. There was a scrub brush and dish soap for the water bowl and a tub that would be large enough for cooling off when the weather warms. I sat upon the stump in the middle of the pasture as there was no mud around the stump. Mats minimized the unavoidable mud as you enter the gate. The hose is outside the gate if you would choose to hose your dog off in all grass before getting in the car. There's a business located across the street and the view is beautiful from the seating that's available. It was a good balance of not feeling isolated while enjoying an amazing view beyond your dogs joyously romping around. Kelly V.

55Great experience! Host provided towels/wipes to help with the post-snow muddiness and there are ample tennis and other balls to play with if you don't bring your own. Water bowl with fresh water was also provided which was lovely. Easy access location and interactions with host on the app were great. Will definitely return!!Jackie K.

55My pup loved this place! He doesn't get to run like that very much. Everything was well kept and well equipped. We will definitely be going back. My only regret was that I forgot to take pictures. Sally B.

55Host has excellent communication. Lots of off street parking right near entrance gate. Very large grassy field with 5 foot mesh (plastic) fencing. More than enough to securely contain my 95 lb GSD. I did walk the perimeter before letting him off leash as recommended by host to make sure deer had not broke thru. My boy Alex had a fantastic time with his new balls. Host also had a large assortment of balls & toys along with a hose & bowl for water. Picnic table for pet parents to sit also provided. Very quiet with great views. We will return, again a great timeLinda G.

55It was our dog's first time out and off leash. He loved the large, open area to run. There were a lot of things on site for your use. The area is also very clean. We will definitely return. Valerie S.

55This spot and host are great!
Super easy to spot from the road with designated parking, very clear entry into the area. Everything was super clean and there were lots of amenities provided, like toys/water bowl/picnic bench for us to sit on/towels/trash can/etc.
We were able to see a horse a safe distance from the spot which my girls enjoyed, otherwise the only activity was a car on the road here and there.

FAQ about our Zionsville dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Zionsville area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 232 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 42 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
