This spot is a 1/2 acre rough pasture with a bench, fruit trees, a tree swing and woods surrounded by greenbelt. It is fully fenced and gated although if your dog is small and escape-minded it may do so because it is wire field fence, not board fence. Please park in front of the garage and keep your dog leashed until you reach the pasture area at the back of the property. Enjoy!

Five acres of partially mowed fields and a natural wooded area. There is a small pond and access to South Prairie Creek. Bring a picnic and enjoy nature. The creek has a variable current, so it may be best for larger dogs. The pond would be ideal for smaller dogs who aren't strong swimmers.

**Maple Valley Romp-N-Roam can only be booked 2 weeks in advance by non-members if hours are available. **To ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience, please read the entire description of the property, fencing details and my property rules.** *Bookings with multiple dogs- For every 2 dogs beyond 4, an additional adult is required. This helps to ensure the property remains poop-free. Our completely fenced 1.3 acre Sniffspot and completely fenced property perimeter gives you peace of mind that your pups are safe and secure as you let them play and explore. With a gently sloping pasture for running, trees and stumps for exploring, and low-level agility equipment to build confidence on, your fur baby is sure to find something that sparks their interest. When the temps start reaching 80°, the kiddie pool will come out to refresh your pup's paws! The pool will be filled on these hot days sometime between 10:00 and noon and emptied every evening. If you would like a fresh fill for your pup(s) visit, filled for a morning visit or on a day that temps are below 80°, please add it as an "extra" for $6. If we are unable to offer fresh fills on a particular day, the "extra" toggle will be disabled.  Although completely fenced, supervision is always recommended. 2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (note: during summer months the creek is muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing or barbed wire (see pictures). The gate at the end of the gravel path begins your off-leash experience! Once inside, you'll have the option to take a left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Given this is an active farm with chickens and ducks free ranging we do ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash until you are behind the Sniffspot gate. Dog Nirvana is open for booking a few days in advance so if you see it closed just check back a few days prior and if time is available it will be open to book. Slots typically open 1 to 3 days in advance. Come enjoy yourself in the country! We have over 10 fully fenced acres that include two spring-fed private ponds for dogs that like the water, some slight hills for running and playing, lots of wide open space and a beautiful creek. There will be no dogs, people or animals outside on my property during your visit. Please just bring your own toys and pick up after your dogs. I look forward to welcoming you! * The entire 10+ acre perimeter of the property is steel mesh fencing with poles and/or steel mesh fencing in horse fencing to keep the entire perimeter secure and safe. PLEASE NOTE there are TWO FENCING SYSTEMS here -- the internal pastures that are fenced in 3 rail white fencing and the perimeter fencing which consists of steel mesh to the ground and large log poles and/or 3 rail fencing with steel mesh down to the ground. The pasture fencing is located INSIDE of the separate property perimeter fencing. If a dog runs under the white interior pasture fencing they are still secured within the perimeter system. * The front gate and a service gate are metal with horizontal rails with 6.5 inches between each rail. Smaller dogs could potentially get out through the rails. A picture of the gate is included in listing photos so that guests can assess whether the gate will be an issue for them so they can determine whether this property will be appropriate for their pup(s). * This property is pretty secluded. Two sides of the property are surrounded by conservation land (woods), one by a quiet neighborhood road (with the only house set back and not visible while on my property) and the fourth (above the house and barn) by 60 acres in two parcels. The neighbors ' horses might be seen in the distance along the upper side of my property and you might hear their dogs barking from several acres away periodically. * Several pastures have covered horse sheds in them that can be used by visitors for shelter from rain or sun. * There is a dog dish for water, a container of water, poop bags and several garbage cans for doggie poop bags! * If you bring additional guests with pups PLEASE make sure they are aware of all information/rules shared in the listing and via message by the host. * Carey Creek runs along the entire south side of the lowest pasture. It is fully useable for guests. it is on my property but outside of our secure fences so if you go out the gates at the bottom of the property to get to the creek you should leash up if your dog has poor recall. * We have access across the road from the property to 1800 + acres with 30 miles of trails on Taylor Mountain (King County Park) so make it a day and come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! We hope you enjoy your time here. It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, our home and other single family homes surround the property. There are neighbors who walk their dogs or play with their dogs in their yards. There are no shared fence-lines but we are noting this in case your dog might be reactive or sensitive to seeing and hearing other dogs and people. There are also chickens nearby - see note below. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! *🎾💦 For the toys and water bowls, we have labeled bins for 'clean' and 'dirty/used'. Please utilize items from the clean containers and then place in used/dirty so we can thoroughly clean them. There are cleaning materials in case you would like to sanitize or self-clean bowls or toys. Thank you! * 🥾The terrain of the pasture does have some dips, bunny holes and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of longer pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid and/or waterproof shoes will help you navigate the land. *💦 There is a water jug and spigot with hose in the pasture to use for drinking water. If you use the spigot, please be sure to turn it off. There are small plastic pools available for warm days. You are welcome to use a pool, but please empty it after use and return it to the fenceline area. *💡we have 4 sets of string lights on our fence, two small solar spotlights on the fence, and one large spotlight on the far power pole (motion sensor). It adds some brightness to the pasture for evening visitors. Note that since it is an acre lot, there is a portion of the pasture that is still quite dark once the sun is fully set. *🐓 There are two hens and one rooster on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. Our rooster, as well as neighborhood roosters, are regularly heard. *please note: due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you

We have a giant hill leading down to a majority of our property. Then it's open grass field and some forested area with only one neighboring house visible. It's common to see deer, rabbits, and Eagles. People and dogs can get a great workout on the hill, or you can throw a ball from the top and leave the workout to the dog.

Tug ropes, Chuck-its and balls available in various sizes, including glow in the dark for late night/early morning romps. Bags available for blackberry picking during the season. Open 6 days a week, 5am-10am & 3pm-11pm (5am-1pm Fridays) Closed Thursdays *Off hours available for First Responders and shift workers, please inquire if you need to schedule outside listed times/days. Occasionally, residents will need to depart/arrive, despite our best efforts to do so between visits. We do our very best to be as quick and discreet as possible!

Welcome! Hot summer days call for a doggie pool. Let your buddies run and play on our field, then take a break getting their paws wet or laying in our doggie cool pool! Please note that my booking window is only 14 days out. Please check back for later dates. We hope the humans will enjoy the peacefulness of the field with surrounding woods and peek-a-boo views of the valley. Since our SniffSpot is behind our outbuilding, you have lots of privacy and rarely see anyone during your visit. Our field offers shade at all times of day and often a breeze in the afternoon. It can be very pleasant on hot days. We have a hose with a sprayer if your dog needs an extra cool down. We have toys and balls for the dogs, a covered area with chairs, a couple chairs in the field that can be moved to the shade or sun, poop bags and water bowl by the hose. We have a reserved parking space just for you! My default is to keep my dog in the house while you arrive and depart. He could possibly in his separate dog run by the split rail fence. If you know that seeing him might upset your dog, let me know and I'll make sure he's not seen.

Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. CASHLESS sales at the store please. Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry.

Please park in barked spot at the end of the drive. Gate is directly across from the barked spot. Our property is hilly and you will need to walk up a hill to access spot.

Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. There are two driveways onto the property. You want the north one with the sign "Ericksen." After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Please do not enter the farmhouse yard. New: accepting donations for COMPOST, like leaves, lawn clippings, pumpkins, newspaper, fruit/veg peels, coffee grounds, annual plants including tomatoes, used potting soil, tree trimmings, etc. You'll see the compost receptacle as you come up the driveway.

Our spot is located on a grassy slope with sun and shade, surrounded by trees and brush. There are some marshy areas but lots of good play space. We think it’s a lovely peaceful place, and welcome furry friends and their people.

3 acres, fully fenced, wooded area full of overgrown trees, bushes and even some blackberries. This is natural wooded area, not a manicured playground. NOTE: If you want to book before 10am or after 7pm you have to be a member! 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬!!

A nice half acre corner of our 10 acres set aside for our puppy friends! We have included everything we know our puppy friends love to play with. There is a large piece of playground equipment for fun times, multi-level platforms with two ramps and a tunnel. We have miscellaneous moveable agility equipment available as well as water park stuff like splash pads and kiddie pools. And if that's not enough we also have a Nerf ball launcher as well as a chuckit. There is a dog Hotel on site. But the yards cannot see each other generally. We also have some horses here and we have neighbors who have cows. So there's lots of interesting things to look at here. Right down the road is an adorable town of Wilkinson. There are two restaurants in town that are really fun to order from. While here you can order from Carlson block Pizza, who got Top Knots in the county as being one of the best pizza places. Or check out the Simple Goodness Sisters Deli. They have amazing craft and mock cocktails available along with panini sandwiches and a variety of other things. Stop by and bring them with you so that you can snack and play with your pup or order while you're here and pick them up on your way home so that you have dinner in the car.
