55Great place and kind host! My kid got to feed the goats, and my dogs got to run to their hearts content. There was farm nearby that had some tasty produce and ice cream for sale, too. I will say that there isn't much shade so it could get hot fast. But overall it was just what I needed. Adam S.

55Great area for pups to get their zoomies out safely! It’s also great for distraction training if your dog gets distracted by sheep (they’re in a parallel field separated by their fence and a gap). The owners are lovely people who understand the need for rescues to have a safe area where they can run. We will be returning to this sniff spot :) Lina K.

55We loved it here - out in the country, easy to find, fresh air on a lovely fall day. My Kingsly had a great time; it's a big field with tons of sniffies, and there are sheep and goats in an adjacent field, separated by two fences. So, close enough for excitement, but they won't be grumbling at each other at the fence, because of this separation.
It could be hot here on a hot day, but today was perfect; just be prepared if you or your pup gets overheated easily. (They're adding a shed so there'll be more shade though.) Marla and her husband are soooo nice - I had a chance to talk to both of them and they're just lovely people.
There's a trough with fresh water for the pups - humans might want to bring a chair to sit on, though the grass was comfy. The fence is solid, ie a wire fence that's not escapable.
All in all a really nice spot - we'll definitely be back!Tasha H.

55This is such a great spot! Marla was so welcoming and put fresh water out for my dogs. Tons of space to run, secure fence, and so, so many gopher holes to sniff. My dogs spent much of the hour “hunting” and probably poked their noses in every single one. We had so much fun and will definitely be back!Lisa B.

55Great spot! Took our dog a bit to get used to the sheep in the adjacent pasture, but it was a great exposure and experience for her. Host welcomed us and was friendly. Leslie G.

55Great place! It was big enough to tire out my two active, young dogs. Very nice host, safe fencing, sheep visible but safe behind good fencing. Nice country setting fir dogs to run, play, sniff & get dirty!Shelly B.

55Had a wonderful time here meeting up with two of my friends and their service dogs. The Host was so very kind, helpful, and welcoming even though she was in the middle of working on her farm. She happily offered to show me around and made sure I’d have no trouble knowing where to go and how to open & close the gates. The area was wonderful, not too muddy at all and no puddles, despite how much it raining yesterday! The sheep were lowkey and easy to be around, even when we accidentally launched a ball across the gap and into their field. It was a wonderful spot and we’ll definitely be back sometime! Melisa P.

55Super friendly host, flat, and perfectly fenced area, the ideal size. My dogs had a ball sniffing and meandering, checking out the sheep and moseying along. We’ll definitely be back - thank you Marla! :)Patti S.

55When we arrived we met Marla, she was very friendly and explained to us how to use the gate and showed us the area for the dogs to play. We rented the space for one hour so our two doberman puppies could run. The area wasn’t very muddy considering the amount of rain we have had recently and the dogs had a great time! Jessica G.

55The vast expanse of land was truly breathtaking, offering endless opportunities for exploration. The chairs placed at the top of the hill were a delightful addition, providing a serene spot to sit back, unwind, and take in the beauty of the surroundings. I can already imagine myself bringing a cup of coffee in the morning, sipping it while basking in the tranquility of nature. What made it even more special was the sense of safety I felt, allowing my dogs to roam freely. It was a refreshing change from the confines of a typical dog park, allowing them to truly enjoy their freedom. The combination of nature's wonders, the company of my beloved pets, and the comforting aroma of a warm cup of coffee made it an experience to cherish. I eagerly look forward to future visits, creating more beautiful memories in this idyllic setting. 🌿🌄Meadow A.

FAQ about our Amity dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Amity?
There are 68 dog fields in the Amity area. The most popular dog field is Kristin Hill Vineyard. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Amity area range from $5.0 and $5.0. The least expensive dog field is Kristin Hill Vineyard. The most expensive dog field is Kristin Hill Vineyard. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
