15+ fully fenced grassy acres, including a pond. Acreage is divided into 3 areas, with gates open or closed to limit or expand running space. Higher areas are drier, puddles in the lower spots. Pastures are vacant through the winter months. Parking is along a private gravel dead-end road. There is a SniffSpot sign on the double green gate. There are occasional dog-walkers along the road, but otherwise the spot is private.
22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. If you follow the power line trail to the left, then follow it up the hill to the forest on the other side, there is another trail that enters the forest. This is all state forest and not easily accessible to the public. This trail will lead you to the top of the mountain on your right. Hiking this round trip will take about 2 hours. Approx 5 miles and 900 feet elevation gain. If interesting in doing this hike please ask me for details.

12 Acres with a ravine and creek running through the whole length of the property. Just off the Malahat highway, between Tunnel Hill and the Malahat Chalet.
We have a number of wide moss covered walking trails through the woods. The property is fully fenced with wire fencing. But it is NOT dog proof fencing . There is a natural wide buffer between trails and fencing in most spots. The west side has privacy fencing, hogwire fencing on the North and a creek borders the Southend. . We have dogs on the property but they do not go venturing into the woods unless we are with them.
Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use, enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. 29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner.
We live about 3 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on.
Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors... ‘chatty hosts/property owners’😉). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat, a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power or running water) with it’s own private entrance. Two grassy sloping yard areas with “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill. Secluded, native woodland with mowed grass. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens. During your visit, feel free to pick blueberries, wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse could happen before we can arrange for it to be replaced.
10 acres of open pasture, pilchuck riverfront and wooded area. pasture is fenced with barbwire and field fencing in areas. There are 10 Scottish Highland cattle on site separated by barbwire fencing. Spot currently available only Monday-Wednesday through October.
It’s always been very safe for off leash woodland adventures...because it feels like you have it all to yourself. You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the new off leash park. There is bug spray along the trail in case you forget to use some and want it. Please respect other visitors and make sure to put your doggie bags in the provided trash bins, and PLEASE do not put your doggie bags in the fire pit!!!
Please Note: 11/25/22- I’ve decided to open up the calendar for a bit to allow reservations with greater ease, but I do still ask that you message first in case someone related to our forest cleanup project is on-site. 10/1/22- At this time the property could be potentially available for your use, however, we are preparing for the forest cleanup project that we’ve been working towards with the DNR for over a year. If you are interested in visiting here, please message and if it works out I’ll be happy to accommodate you. 07/01/22- Important: The Sniffspot platform does not allow hosts the option to approve or cancel reservations, as such I have blocked my calendar to more easily control reservations. I often don’t know until last minute when the forest manager I’m working with for the DNR forest cleanup project is on-site, the logging will take place hopefully this winter. — This 21-acre forest with a large beaver pond is classified as a class-A wetland. In addition to this, you can find a shallow creek, beaver dams, old-growth forest, and phenomenal bird habitat. Find privacy and quiet with the exception of the songs of many birds and woodpeckers. This property was once a show home, but a fire took place over 10 years ago and the house was not rebuilt. While the ruins that remain are minimal, it sets an interesting backdrop; perhaps it can be the scene for a mysterious photoshoot. Within the property is a small orchard, we do ask to try to not let the pups do their business there. Spring 2022 Update: One picnic table have been added to the property.
