We have 3 fully fenced acres perfect for exploring and chipmunk chasing and a pond perfect for swimming! BUT THE POND IS FOR DOGS ONLY! No areas are off limits other than our decks. Occasionally the neighbor dog is out to say hello with a bark but he is friendly and typically gets called inside after a quick hello. Our neighbors are very kind if you happen to see them as well, but again there is a fence between our neighbors!

It’s great for dogs who love to run as well as those who need a quiet place to explore. Because our farm sits a bit off the main road, it is usually a peaceful and relaxing environment. There is occasional mud especially right after a rain. There are bee boxes located outside of the back/northern fence line (your dog will not be able to access them). Due to the nature of our property and the outdoor environment, I cannot guarantee the absence of wildlife, wildlife scat, insects, mud, fallen fruit, weather-related conditions, or other natural elements. Activities: Walk, run, off road bike, yoga, cross skiing, snowshoe, agility, herding (bring your own sheep ), search, Frisbee, scent work, etc. Wildlife: Deer, many birds- hawks, vultures, turkeys, various song birds, rabbits, raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels.***Yes, deer poop in the fields and woods. Get over it🤣🤣🤣*** Access for with trucks, trailers, equipment, sheep, dogs, etc. 14’ gate and a 4’ gate walk-in. (Please early notice) The entire 10+ acres (we used to have horses, cows and sheep) is fenced (4’ farm fence). For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! Winter: This Sniffspot will be open all winter. ***The snow isn’t always plowed immediately. We do our best. You may have to walk from the road (if the city also has plowed). Use your discretion. Be safe! ***There is a heated bucket for winter. After freeze temperatures begin, there won’t be a hose available.

Conveniently located right off the B2B trail and across the street from Timber Town, this spot offers a unique mix of nature, enrichment, and fun. Upon arrival, you’ll find a designated parking spot and a peaceful trail that winds around the back of the property to the park entrance. Along the way, you’ll pass our duck enclosure and pond—feel free to stop and say hi! If you'd like to feed the ducks, they love shredded lettuce or diced cucumbers (please, no bread). At the end of the trail, you’ll find a double-gated entry with a separate area for leashing and unleashing your dog safely. Inside, your pup will have the freedom to explore about a quarter-acre of fenced-in space, featuring fun enrichment structures like a dog bridge and stacked hay bales for climbing, sniffing, and playing. This space is ideal for dogs who prefer a quiet environment without the stress of other dogs nearby. While our fence is 4 feet high and the area is smaller than some, it’s a great spot for dogs who just need a safe, fun place to burn off energy and enjoy nature. Nestled directly alongside quiet nature preserves, our property offers incredible privacy and a peaceful escape from suburban distractions. This is not a manicured suburban backyard. Instead, you will find a beautiful, rustic slice of natural country fields featuring tall seasonal grasses, thick brush, and mature trees. It is the ultimate environment for off-leash scent work, long-line recall training, gun dog or sporting breed fundamentals, or just letting a high-energy pup sprint across massive distances without the stress of a public park. To make your visit comfortable, we maintain a wide, freshly mowed walking path that loops entirely through the 5 acres, giving handlers a clean trail to walk while their dogs explore the cover alongside them. The Layout & Safety Details Acreage: 5 full acres of natural, rustic field. Fencing: UNFENCED. This spot is wide open. It is ideal for working breeds, dogs with highly reliable recall, or handlers utilizing training lines. Terrain: Natural, unmowed country field with a mowed walking loop. Please wear sturdy outdoor footwear! Because it is a natural area, we highly recommend up-to-date tick prevention for your pups. Privacy & Homestead Disclosures Total Isolation During Bookings: Your reservation is 100% private. We promise that the 5-acre field will be entirely free of other people and animals for the duration of your visit. Arrival Visibility: Because this is an active homestead, there is a chance you may briefly see us outside taking care of property chores when you first pull into the driveway. However, we will head inside or stay completely clear of the field once you arrive so you can enjoy total privacy. Acoustics: While we have no close or visible neighbors, sound can carry in the country, and you may occasionally hear a neighborhood dog barking in the far distance. Our Animals: For the complete safety and focus of your dogs, our poultry flock is kept completely secure and locked away in their enclosed run during all active bookings. Amenities Provided Dedicated, off-street parking spot right near the field entrance. A clean human seating area near the entrance. Dedicated waste station (trash can + complimentary poop bags). Fresh, clean water station and a dog bowl. Host Rules Please clean up after your pup using the provided waste station. Keep your dog secured until you are in the trail. We have chickens who spend there time around the chicken coop in the front by our home which is not visible from the trail. The neighbors home at the top of the hill is visible a bit. They are friendly and rarely home, if you dog wanders over just bring them back into yard as soon as you can Enjoy the ultimate peace and quiet!
