We have a giant hill leading down to a majority of our property. Then it's open grass field and some forested area with only one neighboring house visible. It's common to see deer, rabbits, and Eagles. People and dogs can get a great workout on the hill, or you can throw a ball from the top and leave the workout to the dog.

Many acres of hilly wooded trails to get lost in and an active stream to get a drink from. You can wander for awhile and not cross over your own tracks. But try not to actually get lost. 124 Acre Conservation Farm Trails Fields Fun

We are Closed for the season so follow us on Facebook or TikTok for open dates ;) Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN THE 2 HOUR WINDOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. WE BLOCK OUT ALL DAY BOOKINGS FOR SNIFFSPOT APPOINTMENTS. Check out our website, insta and FB page for more photos too! Happy Sniffing!!

Magical Mossy Forest

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 100 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. The parking area can only be located where it is to protect the ecology of Little Ames Creek. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Please visit our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555379018442 Let us know if you have any questions. Synchronized play bowing to you!

Our Hipcamp makes a great dog park! Acres of fun space to explore: wide open areas for ball throwing etc., a couple of trails through the trees, a long mowed driveway, a budding forest to tromp through, and tall grass fields. The camp area has a compost toilet, table, chairs, hand washing station and fire pit (bring your own firewood etc.) Enjoy!

55This is probably the nicest Sniffspot we’ve ever been to. It is quite expansive with lots of different areas to explore, very well maintained trails, and lots of places to sit and relax. In true terrier fashion my dog loved going under all the bridges to see what critters might be living under them. It was a longer drive for us so we booked a longer visit and had a picnic lunch on the cabin porch, which was really lovely. This is mentioned in the listing, but the main way to access the spot is through a pasture in close proximity to farm animals. We’re at a place in our training that my dog handled it well, but something to keep in mind if your dog is very reactive to other animals. With the fencing and distance setup at the lower part of the Sniffspot, it was actually a nice training opportunity for her to observe the farm animals. We loved this spot and are already planning another visit.

This is probably the nicest Sniffspot we’ve ever been to. It is quite expansive with lots of different areas to explore, very well maintained trails, and lots of places to sit and relax. In true terrier fashion my dog loved going under all the bridges to see what critters might be living under them. 55This is a beautiful spot, with a meadow and streams to play in and lots of fun little trails. We were there for 90 minutes, and we did not get bored! You will initially pass through a field with some cows, a goat, and turkeys, so be prepared if your dog has a strong prey drive, as mine does. Also keep in mind that there is a quiet road that runs along the top of the property, and there is no fence between the property and the road. I mention this for those whose dogs might not be good about staying out of roads (or who want to chase cars, as mine does!). I would highly recommend this Sniffspot, and I'm looking forward to visiting again!

55Such a beautiful gem. My dogs absolutely loved running all up and down through the woods and in the streams. The trails were beautifully maintained and benches all throughout for sitting to listen to the stream and admire the beautiful landscape. The host, Stephanie was so nice and welcoming and I truly enjoyed learning about their fabulous place. Lots of farm animals wandering around in the pasture area and the dogs did great around them. I loved the beautiful turkey walking around and fanning his feathers! Such a wonderful place, I felt like I was a friend when I left and the dogs got so much enjoyment they slept the whole way home!

55We love Spring Acres and return to it often. It’s very private and it has everything a dog could want - wooded trails, creeks and for the ball obsessed canine, large open areas to play fetch. The only thing it doesn’t have is an ocean beach but for the salty sea pup in your family there are a couple sandy areas by the creek to nose around in! The property is really beautiful right now too with all the spring growth emerging. It’s still muddy so be sure to wear appropriate shoes or boots. Stephanie and John keep improving the spot too with things like new trailhead signage and a new trail. All in all it’s a great spot!

55If I could give this place 5,000,000 stars, I would. Same with our pup, Freyja. We brought her here as a gift for her 3rd birthday, and she had the time of her life! Baked her a cake, and let her run around worry-free for 3.5 hours! John has got to be one of the most kind-hearted and animal loving people out there, and we were blessed for the opportunity to enjoy his and Stephanie's land. Thank you a million, and we will DEFINITELY be back!!! An experience of a lifetime.

FAQ about our Bonney Lake dog hiking trails

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How can I find dog hiking trails in Bonney Lake?
There are 13 dog hiking trails in the Bonney Lake area. The most popular dog hiking trail is Pawsome Acres. You can browse all of our dog hiking trails here.
How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
