When our owner’s property is not booked for boarding, the yard is available to book for use on Sniff Spot.

We selectively open our dog friendly yard on a per day basis (6 hours = $90). Shade and sun, digging and sleeping, zoomies and cuddles, we got ya! We are pet positive and flow your trained prompts. Only one or two families at a time with loads of love from us!

Hello! My name is Katie and we are so excited to offer our yard space to your furry best friend. My family has lived in an apartment the last two years while house hunting in Crozet, and we have learned how difficult it is to have dogs without access to a yard. Now that we are settling into our new home, we are excited to offer our space for afternoon fetch, morning zoomies, and just lounging in the sunshine. Animals just make the world a better place. You will always have complimentary access to our hammock and swing gazebo but the use of the Solo Stove is an additional fee. Come enjoy some nature time in our yard in Crozet. :) Arrival Notes: When you arrive you can park anywhere on our gravel drive away. The gate to the right of the house that goes into our garden is where you will enter. Our sunflowers are dead and an eye sore right now, but I’m letting the birds and squirrels finish up their feast of seeds. This “holding” area in the garden gives you a chance to triple check there are no lingering guests or animals in the yard. Once you are in our backyard please shut the gate behind you. Most guests enjoy hanging out in the firepit area where there are hammock swings and seating. Along the fence, you will see a spot for water, toys, and other things I thought you may need. We ask that guests not utilize our small deck near the house, so that our dogs don’t bark and disturb their stay! So far all of our guests have come a second time, so if you end up booking again, I’d love any feedback on how to make your visit extra special. Tucked away in Goochland County! Rural, quiet, and plenty of privacy! House is nestled on 4 acres (fenced-in area is a little over half an acre) of flat land. Large tree in backyard provides shade for the pups, along with a couple kiddie pools for the water lovers. Plenty of toys, tennis balls, and towels available. Rest assured, your pup will have plenty of room to sniff & explore ! Seating and umbrella available for the humans, as well as WiFi and reading material, so you can be cozy while your fur kid is romping!

Enjoy our secluded dog pasture located on a dead end out in Beaverdam. As you enter the gravel driveway, you will see designated parking alongside a shaded shed. Just a short walk away is the entrance to a fully fenced doggie pasture. We will have camp style chairs at the gate for your use as well as a garden hose and drinking bowl (for the dogs only preferred).There are covered dog shelters so your pooch can have some shade. Doo doo bags and trash can are nearby for cleaning up. The area is far removed from the street We are easily reached should you have any issues at all and the area has security cameras for safety. We do not have any outside pets that will interfere with your visit. A burn barrel and wood is available for visits in the cooler months. Take a ride through the county and enjoy our clean and pesticide/fertilizer free pasture!

It's unfenced, it's wooded, it's.. got a lot of gnats and mosquitos, but we're working on that. It's a 5.6 acre plot in total, but the back yard is VERY rocky. My wife and I like to keep the grass from getting much higher than 6".

We have an easy access, fully fenced area in our back yard for your dogs to enjoy and relax in.

Our 2 acre property is available for you and your dog to explore! There is a short trail from the back yard that leads to a creek at the back of the property that you are welcome to enjoy with your dog! We often go back there and let our dogs roam around. 10 acres total with 1.7 acres fenced as well as trail through back woods

Secluded 6 acres of yard surrounded by several more acres of woods. The yard it’s self is flat wide open space. There are little trails in the woods near the back area of the yard to explore with your pup! The back deck has seating that anyone is welcomed to use. There is a fire-pit area in the backyard that could be used if discussed with host. Sometimes there is small wildlife spotted in the yard and woods. We do have one pup who absolutely loves her yard but we wanted to share the love with other pups! We will keep our pup inside or out of the house when puppy guests are here!

There is a 8 foot wide, half mile path that runs the perimeter of a 6 acre wooded lot. The path is mulched. There is no fence, but lined by trees. If your dog has good recall, they are free to roam, as are you. Its a beautiful, peaceful and serene walk around a quiet wooded area. There is some terrain, and good for a runner as well. You will be required to pick up after your dog.
