Spacious Half Acre Off-Leash Retreat

Home to 3 dogs (Griffin 🩶 13.8 years old, Mellow 🖤 11 years old, and Lionel 🤎 5 years old) who know a good sniffing spot when they see one! On August 21, we lost our beloved dog, Griffin 🩶, who spent nearly 14 years enjoying this yard before losing his battle with heart cancer. He was sweet, loyal, strong-headed, and deeply loved. This yard was one of his favorite places to run, play, lounge in the sun, and make memories with our family. We miss him every day and are currently building a memorial in the back left corner of the yard in his honor. Opening our yard to other dogs has become a special way to share the space Griffin loved so much. We like to think he would have been thrilled to welcome new visitors and spend hours catching up on everyone's "smell mail." The yard sits on a half-acre lot with plenty of room for dogs of all energy levels. Whether your pup enjoys sprinting laps, playing fetch, exploring every scent, or simply relaxing in the shade, there's room to do it all. We like to keep the grass short and well-maintained, so we mow and trim regularly, typically once a week and more often during periods of heavy rainfall and rapid growth. We also do our best to stay on top of seasonal insects, bugs, and changing weather conditions to keep the yard as enjoyable as possible. Afternoons and evenings are our favorite times to enjoy the yard. By then, the morning dew has dried, and much of the yard is shaded by the tree canopy, creating a comfortable environment for both people and pets. Even after a heavy rain, the yard generally drains well and dries quickly, with very little mud. On cooler evenings, it's a peaceful place to relax, listen to the sounds of nature, and watch dogs enjoy the freedom of the open space.

The Hive Private Dog Park In Manassas

Welcome to the Hive's Sniffspot! We have just about a half acre of completely fenced in yard for you and your pups to enjoy with sun, shade, grass, trees, lots of great sniffs, toys, and room to run! You and your pupper can play fetch, frisbee, and tug. You can tease your pupper with our flirt pole or maybe you want to just relax on our covered porch or on our yard deck, rocking the time away while your BFF explores the yard! We have squirrels to chase, fresh water to drink, a hose to spray your pup down with, a sprinkler and/or pupper pool to frolic in on those hot summer days, and a towel to dry them off with! We even have a huge sandbox for sanctioned digging! The queen and king of our hive are our (rescued) 5 year old spicy pibble, Sophie, and our 7 year old (also rescued) refined gentleman husky, Kasai. Our puppers love their yard, and we are so excited to be able to share it with you and your pup! If we are home and you need to use the restroom or you'd like a pitcher of filtered ice water and glasses waiting for you, just message us or knock on our yellow front door! Willow Tree Yard

**Potential noise/distraction warning for sensitive dogs: There is a new house being built on a lot near our spot, and sounds from the construction work might disturb some dogs (or people). The timing of the workers is unpredictable and out of our control, but they are finished by 6pm most days, and they haven’t been working most Sundays.** Spot Description: Let your dog run free in our backyard that has a wooden privacy fence. They can play or lounge under our large weeping willow tree, and we have many other amenities for dogs and people (see pictures and amenities list for details). Seating/shelter: The lower deck has 3 lawn chairs and a canopy for protection from sun/rain. The upper deck (accessible via stairs in the backyard) has 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table with 4 chairs. Use of the shed in the backyard is not an option (it will be locked). Parking: There is easy free street parking in our cul-de-sac. Lighting: For after-dark visits, our yard has some lighting, and we can also provide a flashlight for you and a clip-on light for your dog (2 available). Note 1: There is a public sidewalk that runs along the outside of the fence on one side of our yard. So, people occasionally walk by (and sometimes have their dog walking with them). The fence is a bit higher than 5 feet on that side, so people can be seen/heard briefly, and a passing dog could be heard/smelled by your dog if they are near the fence at the time. Most people have said this was not a significant issue for their dogs, but I'm stating it here for the awareness of people with more reactive dogs. Note 2: When walking between your vehicle and the gate to our backyard, there may sometimes be other people or dogs (possibly off-leash) on the street/sidewalk or in their front yards. Or there may sometimes be someone from our household leaving or arriving home (which involves walking between the front door and a car in our driveway). So please stay alert and keep your dog on leash until you are inside the backyard with the gate closed (per standard SniffSpot rules). Scheduling Tips: If it looks like there are no available time slots on a certain day, try changing the reservation length in your search criteria to a half-hour (using the pencil icon). Also, SniffSpot automatically blocks the 30 minutes before and after any existing reservation, so you don't need to factor in your own buffer when you book a time slot.

Large enclosed backyard in Falls Church

We have somewhere between a third to a half acre in our backyard, fully enclosed with a 5 to 7-ft wood fence. We have shady spots, but there also aren't too many trees, so there is plenty of room to play fetch and run around. Amenities include a dog jump, a small dog tunnel, and furniture on the lower deck for you to sit down. There usually are a number of my dog's toys laying around (frisbees, balls, and ropes), which you are free to use while you are here. Please leave them in the yard on your way out though. We've had quite a bit of our stuff disappear over the years.

The yard offers plenty of great 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩 opportunities to take tons of pictures throughout the various seasons. 🦋 The yard is a 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩®, we are trying to help nature where and when we can. The flower beds have been designed for local critters - birds, turtles, pollinators, etc so absolutely no killing of any bees, butterflies, spiders, turtles, snakes, birds or other wildlife you may find. It also means you will likely encounter gnats, mosquitos and possibly ticks - all great bird food but not so nice for us humans and our pups. So please be sure your pup is current on their preventatives. We do provide bug spray for you to use - just be sure to use in the lawn and not near any of the flower beds. In the summer months grass may get a little taller to help out the fireflies. If you can, take a cool pic to share - we'd love to see it. 💉𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: To help ensure a safe environment for visiting pups and our own, guests will need to provide current 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 for rabies and DHPP (distemper, parvo, etc) for EACH dog visiting. Each dog visiting must have received their full round of puppy vaccines AND must be at least 5 months old. If you have questions, feel free to reach out. Once on file, you are good to go until their renewal date. If the vaccination info is not received 1 hour prior to your start time, your reservation will be cancelled. If you have questions, feel free to reach out. 📆𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 & 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 - During the summer months we typically setup for 1 hour appointments. If you are interested in an appointment longer than 1 hour, please reach out and we'll see if we can accommodate. 💧 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 - This is a man-made stream that typically runs in the warmer months and is initially filled with either city water or rainfall. That said, Mother Nature adds to it, so we do recommend your pup have his/her 𝙇𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙤 vaccine. The stream is usually shutdown or just a trickle in the winter months with some water remaining at the end to help support the frogs overwinter. Please do not allow digging or rough play in the stream - we want to keep it in good shape for all our guests to enjoy and avoid costly repairs. If it is important to your visit that the stream is running and at what level (full/trickle) please reach out to the Host to check its status. 🐕 𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧 - Our site is set for a 5 dog limit. If you would like to bring additional dogs, please send a message. The request will be considered on a case by case basis. If you want a key date/time, I recommend securing it with a reservation for one dog and then updating the reservation once we have talked. 🐶 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗚𝗦 - There are some spots at the bottom of the fence a small dog (cat size) might be able to get under - they are meant for our cats and other wildlife. If you are bringing a small dog, let me know and we can block the openings ahead of time. 🚗 𝗩𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧- 𝑴𝒂𝒙𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒎 𝒐𝒇 2 vehicles per reservation. No more scouring for parking and worrying about damage to your car: easily park right in front or on our quiet cul de sac! Be the only guest or enjoy with a friend: Either way, no stressing about big or aggressive dogs possibly hurting yours. Relax and enjoy! Note: Two max people per dog, please, unless you elect to add extra visitors at an extra cost. Limited foot traffic keeps the grass nice for everyone. Dogs of Dunsmore - Kingstowne

Gate entrance to the backyard is to the left of the driveway- Bring your pup to enjoy our peaceful, private yard for sniffing, zoomies, or lounging in the sun! Enjoy the toy rope hanging from the maple tree. Feel free to adjust height using the chain above the toy. There are also toys and treats in the bin on the back deck. When put up, the hammock, tables, and chairs are yours to enjoy! I will place seats in the yard sometimes if guests are more comfortable slightly distanced from the house.

Lakeside at Reptar's (Private Access to Lake!)

A reactive dog himself, my rescue Reptar understands the value of private playtime in a safe space and invites you to enjoy his personal pup oasis! Reptar told me to welcome you and your dogs to enjoy his fully-fenced backyard with private lake access. He offers shade for our guests, both from the trees and a movable pop up tent. He also has a dog-kiddie pool for them to splash around in or rinse off after their dip in the lake. He provide outside toys, doggie waste bags, treats, towels and drinking water for you and our furry guests. He offers a 25 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. Swimming is at the discretion of the owner/booker, and we have no ability to control lake conditions. Welcome to sync your phone to our Bose speaker to listen to your own music or just enjoy the sounds of nature. In the springtime, it’s the perfect weather for your dogs to swim while you enjoy the view. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, you may even help us find newly hatched baby turtles during your stay! Bloomhill Farm over 5 Acre Farmland and Forrest Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In the heart of Manassas

This is a great area, a farm secluded in the middle of Manassas. There is a large field on the side of the house that is mowed and maintained. Behind the field there is a wooded area that you can also explore with a small fence that will show you the boundary. There are some trails maintained and mowed throughout the wooded area as well. We are adjacent to the 234 bypass but a line of trees shield you from the sight of cars. There are no domestic animals here anymore but the fields are still here and beautiful. There is plenty of room for you and your dog to run around and enjoy some peace, quiet, and freedom!! You can throw your Frisbee or ball as far as you want! There is a covered little seating area and a hose for freshwater or if you need to hose down some feet. There is a trash can available and easy parking. I hope you enjoy this area as much as we do it's a beautiful place and we want to share it.

A small private horse farm that directly backs up to a state park. Fields, woods, and creek on property. Dogs must stay out of the horse pasture (some horses may chase them). I have a friendly foxhound on site, although she stays in the house unless I'm walking her. She does love other dogs to play with however!
