Ultimate Sniffing Experience in Roseville!

Nearly 1/3 of an acre in Roseville available for your dog to sniff until their heart’s content! Open mowed grassy area wide enough for zoomies and long enough for fetch, as well as natural/unmanicured shaded areas for “jungle sniffari’s”. Not far off of Highway 36 and 35E, enjoy the perks of room to run while having the privacy of your own space. Plenty of seating for humans underneath a shaded gazebo, with a table and basic amenities for guest use. Please be aware that we do have other dogs in the neighborhood. This includes our direct neighbors to the north, who we share a chain link fence with. If you are visiting on an evening or weekend, there’s a good chance their dog will be outside also!

David's Fully Fenced Yard

Quiet circle in pleasant neighborhood just off Central Ave and 694. Fully fenced and easy access from the street. Relax on the deck while your dog explores the yard and splashes in the kiddie pool and plays with the toys. Two small woodsy areas in back. Wood chips and some brush areas all around. Hose and sprinkler available in summer. On occasion you will see rabbits and squirrels running around.

Maplewood Farm Dog Retreat | 5-Acre Nature Escape

Welcome to Maplewood Farm Dog Retreat -- a peaceful 5-acre nature escape in south Maplewood near Battle Creek, just minutes from I-94 & McKnight. This is still undeveloped farmland, roughly the size of a city block, tucked into the suburbs, with rolling hills, mature trees, wooded trails, open field space, wildlife sightings and scents (ton of bunnies!), and a very different feel from a typical backyard spot. Dogs get room to run, sniff, explore, and decompress away from crowded dog parks, while hoomans can breathe, sit under the shade, or bring family for a picnic. Peaceful and private, but still only minutes from St. Paul. For history buffs, the property also has the only standing barn in Maplewood, built in 1896, still in its original form and in use. QUICK 30-MIN VISITS are great for pups who just need to burn energy, stretch their legs, or take a quick potty break. The main fenced play area is approx. 60 ft x 100 ft (about as far as the average person can throw a ball), with room for off-leash play, fetch, zoomies, and tug with a 7-ft spring pole. Lots of balls, frisbees, tug ropes, and poop bags available; toys are cleaned and power-washed regularly. Water play has 4 settings, including the very popular splash pad and a sprayer for bathing, doggie shampoo provided. I also added a new lawn sprinkler with some cool settings—great for pups who love “eating water” lol! Easy to access near the street, with parking right next to the gate, so you can get in, let your pup run, do their business, and head out. There’s shaded seating, a hammock (please try it out!), and other amenities to keep the hoomans comfortable too—sometimes suspiciously comfortable. (Please remember, you did bring a dog ;) For 30-min visits, please use the fenced play area only. I usually won’t come out to greet you so you can make the most of your time! For the FULL MAPLEWOOD FARM EXPERIENCE, I recommend booking 1–2 hours. That gives you time to enjoy the fenced play area plus a slower long-leash walk around the block-long property (all wooded areas is ours), with a peaceful country feel, wildlife scents, wooded trails, apple trees, scenic paths, open field space, nooks and crannies, and quiet places to take in nature. For longer visits, a good route usually starts in the fenced area, then continues through the back gate into the wooded trail system. You can loop toward the house and barn (you may hear my dogs bark), continue through the mature forest trail, use one of a couple trolley lines for semi-free roaming—the longer one runs over a road trail—then circle back toward the open field. Signs are posted to help guide you, but you’re also welcome to explore the square property on your own (see map in photos) and take whatever route suits you. This is a natural, dog-friendly space, not a suburban yard. Dogs are welcome to explore, climb on log and wood chip piles, chew or pull on tree branches, sniff around, and dig anywhere—even inside the fenced area. I’ll fill the holes if needed. I’m not precious about the landscape here, esp since the property may be developed next year. While it’s still here, I want our furry friends to have it and enjoy it. Foster dogs and dogs with physical or sensory challenges are welcome to visit for a steep discount. Since I live and work on-site, the spot is open pretty much anytime, from early morning to midnight, so you can book around your dog’s energy, the weather, or your own schedule. This spot is night-friendly -- the house is set farther back from the play area, so normal dog play is totally fine. I recently installed LED night lights so pups can still burn energy after sundown, and nighttime is much cooler for dogs on hot days. Bug spray/defogger available. Supervised campfire use available, privately message me. Great for those who work odd hours, or anyone who wants a relaxed, super undistracted late evening visit. Rice Creek Sniffspot

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

Relax near the "dog" pool while your dog explores the yard for new and interesting smells. Mostly open yard with a path through a woodsy pollinator area in back. Kiddie pool and hose available in summer, plus a tiny inground pond for cooling off. What the yard lacks in a aesthetics it makes up for in smells. Rabbits live in the brush pile beyond the tall grass. Lots of bones everywhere 🦴🦴, free for the taking. Some well loved toys and balls available. Garden with cherry tomatoes to pick when available.

We have one reactive girl who has just loved having a huge yard to play and not worry about other people and dogs, I'm sure your pups will love it as well! The front gate is remotely controlled to let guests in, and a button on the inside of the gate for whenever you need to leave. There is a doorbell camera set up for when you arrive, just ring the bell, I'll say hello and let you in :). There's an additional doorbell camera right on the inside of the gate in case you need anything during your visit. I'm happy to chat on the app for any folks that are Deaf/HOH to get in or need help. The yard is 5ft fence with a privacy screen. There are trees and shrubs for your pups to sniff and explore, as well as a wide open lawn perfect for fetch. There are parkour options and a ball pit in the back of the yard and a toy box up near the gate.
