The privacy fence blocks most of the visuals, but it can get a bit noisy with kids playing and planes overhead. There’s a couple neighborhood dogs, a few bark from inside their homes. We have a resident cat who will occasionally snooze in the window sill. ⚠️ the neighbor dog is occasionally an escape artist and will wander over from across the street to sniff the green space next to our yard. If your pup is dog reactive, this might not be the spot for you. 💧 seasonal update: bring your own water. The hose is stored away for the winter.

Please bring water.* The water is usually left ready to go, but the spigot on the side of the house is off. To use it, open the valve on the side of the house by the driveway. We ask that our guests park by the barn and go straight to the lake then to the left around the lake. Trails are marked. It is about a 1 mile trail or more. trails are not plowed open in the winter but are perfect for snow shoeing, hiking an fat tire bikes in the snow on the trails or perfect spring to fall on the maintained trails.

Be careful of any ice that may be around - the “grippy stuff” I put down is cat litter for traction… totally dog safe! Nearly 1/3 of an acre in Roseville available for your dog to sniff until their heart’s content! Open mowed grassy area wide enough for zoomies and long enough for fetch, as well as natural/unmanicured shaded areas for “jungle sniffari’s”. Not far off of Highway 36 and 35E, enjoy the perks of room to run while having the privacy of your own space. Plenty of seating for humans underneath a shaded gazebo, with a table and basic amenities for guest use. Please be aware that we do have other dogs in the neighborhood. This includes our direct neighbors to the north, who we share a chain link fence with. If you are visiting on an evening or weekend, there’s a good chance their dog will be outside also!

The Dog Park at Thresher Fields Park in Eagan, Minnesota is an unfenced off-leash dog area where handlers are responsible for their dog's behavior and safety. Dogs must be properly vaccinated and have a permit tag. Only two dogs per handler are allowed, and aggressive dogs are not permitted. Handlers must clean up after their dog and keep them under control at all times. Children under 16 must be supervised, and certain restrictions apply to puppies and female dogs in heat. The park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers amenities such as a small dog area, field, and lake. Visitors can contact the city for more information at (651) 675-5500 or visit their website.
