Offering a fully fenced off leash yard for dogs and their humans for playing and stretching their legs before or after the ferries or just island cruising and for some ppl who don’t want to deal with too much civilization. There’s a picnic table with room to sit in the shade or out of the weather, accompanied by power source to plug in your phone etc should you have your own charging device. A clock will be hung from the corner to keep folks apprised of the weather temp the time and the date. Willowbank Farm “Millie's Memorial Play and Chillaxin Spot”.

History of our Sniffspot: “Millie “ was an English cream Golden Retriever from the famous Kyon Kennels in Orangeville Ontario . She was the sweetest family dog ever, and was even an extra on the original “Pupstar “ . Millie was also an adventurer and an escape artist extraordinaire ! .In her Diva way she demanded that we fence off a few of the bigger areas on our farm so she could safely roam off leash and have friends over . Millie enjoyed her ‘personal park’ for much of her 14 years here, and asked if we could continue sharing it with other doggie friends and their people once she passes. Millie passed peacefully at the age of 14 on Aug 12 2026. Description: “Millie’s spot” is Located just off the Galloping Goose Trail in a scenic hillside area in Saseenos Sooke. We are just up from Saseenos vet and the corner property on Gladys and Ludlow Rd. We are conveniently located just steps from the Galloping Goose Ludlow road trail exit if you want to hike before or after your visit . The entrance to the farm and Millie’s spot is on Ludlow road on the left just past the Gladys turn off across from Arleigh Place . We are on approx 2 acres of tiered landscaped property that is accessible with landscape stairs with railings to and from the designated Sniffspot areas . (Caution and good mobility is required on the hilly bits. ) The off leash Sniffspot area is approx .75 of an acre and comprised of a fully fenced 50x150 foot horse riding ring with firm style sand base, and another fully fenced horse paddock and picnic sitting area. Fencing is mainly with 4-5 foot post and rail horse fencing with 3-4 foot of mesh between. Good for dogs that aren’t big climbers or jumpers, and Millie tested and approved . Also works for our sneaky Frenchie . There are flat and hilly areas for dogs to run and explore . A great work out for both humans and dogs ! Sit up in the picnic area and toss the ball or frisbee down into the riding ring for an extra energy burning hill fetch run! Raining ? Or Hot weather ? Several Tree canopies of willows and cedars will keep you cool in summer and dry during a gentle rain . We also have a small overhang area in the riding ring . Most of the footing is gravel or pea gravel or sand so mud is pretty minimal . Agility ? The riding ring is a perfect venue if you want to do an agility training course! , You are welcome to bring your own equipment with the possibility to store it here if you book a series of visits in advance :) What to bring, the basics : Please Bring your own toys, poop bags and water, plus good walking shoes for the hill to and from the play areas. Take your waste bags with you when you leave please. Sorry no washroom available, but Daniel’s market is just down the road . First Visit ? We understand that many of our neighbors may not have the space to let their pups run free so we are opening our backyard to encourage safe play for dogs in an unrestricted environment. Our dogs which you see in the pictures will be indoors and kenneled throughout your visit. While the yard is fully fenced, there are small spaces that a dog can see and hear through and there may be people walking by throughout your visit. The yard is completely accessible on the exterior so we are happy to say hi, but if you would prefer an interrupted visit feel free to let yourself in and out. Lil Campbell River Farms Private Dog Park and Forest In South Surrey

1 Acre fully fenced grassy area Dog Park with covered seating area to enjoy your coffee. No sprays or pesticides used on grass. Long stretch for ball launching and getting out the zoomies. Another 12 acres of walking over a bridge of the Lil Campbell River into an incredibly lush forest. The forest is not all fenced. Once over the bridge, it is the dog owner discretion of whether your dog is off leash or leashed. It is a private forest so it is rare to see other dogs and people, but wildlife is always a possibility. Please keep your dog on a leash from the parking area to the dog park area and also from the dog park to bridge for a walk through the trails in the forest.

It is spacious, rustic, natural and real—not a manicured city dog park. The main play area is grassy and open. Blackberry bushes and prickly vegetation grow around some outer edges, so please supervise dogs that like to push into brush. The ground is natural and may be uneven, wet or slippery following rain. Fallen branches, wildlife and other normal outdoor conditions may occasionally be present. 🐦🐿️ The lowest fencing is approximately 4 feet high. This field may not be suitable for dogs that can jump, climb or escape over a 4-foot fence. 👀 PRIVACY AND DISTRACTIONS Our family dogs do not enter the Sniffspot field during confirmed reservations. They may occasionally be seen or heard from our separate family yard or house. Dogs, people, cyclists, vehicles and other animals may also sometimes be seen or heard outside the property. This is a good option for dogs that benefit from private space but can tolerate occasional sights and sounds. It is not a completely visually or audibly isolated location. 💧 SELF-SERVE AMENITIES The water, pool, toy, waste and seating areas are self-serve. Please use what you need and leave each station ready for the next guest. 💛 Before leaving: ✅ Pick up all dog waste ✅ Empty and return any pool used ✅ Empty water bowls and place used bowls in the USED BOWLS container ✅ Return toys and ball launchers to the toy drying station ✅ Place wet or muddy toys in the USED TOYS basket ✅ Replace the seating cover ✅ Close and latch every gate Please leave the field ready for the next dog. 🐾 🌧️ SEASONAL AVAILABILITY This is a seasonal outdoor field. We stay open as long as the ground is firm and conditions allow. We typically pause bookings sometime in October or November when sustained rain leaves the field saturated, muddy or at risk of damage. We normally reopen around March once the ground has drained, the grass has recovered and the field is firm enough for dogs to run safely. The exact closing and reopening dates change from year to year based on rainfall, drainage and field conditions. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn. When possible, please fill any dug-up spots so as to keep people and pups from tripping or getting hurt!
