Our 0.5-acre fully fenced private pasture offers plenty of space to run, sniff, explore, and play—all with beautiful views of North Table Mountain and room to roam. We created Waffles Ranch because we know how valuable it can be to have a safe, private place where dogs can truly stretch their legs, train, and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your pup loves zoomies, chasing scents, practicing new skills, or simply relaxing in a quieter environment, we hope you'll feel at home here. For your comfort, the pasture and seating area are treated periodically with pet-safe products to help reduce mosquitoes and make outdoor play more enjoyable for both dogs and humans. Accessibility note: Waffles Ranch includes an upper grassy area with shade and seating, accessible by stairs. Dogs with mobility limitations or joint issues may prefer to remain in the lower pasture. Mom also offers extra playtime with me (you should definitely choose this—I already know I love you, it’s just how I am). I’m full of energy when we first meet, but once I know you’re sticking around, I’ll settle down and give you space… if that’s your vibe. Otherwise, we can play. And play. And play some more. If you prefer to hang in my yard by yourself, that's cool too. Enjoy all the smells. Mom has some garden boxes in the back and she composts in the center of them. The smells coming from there are my favorite, 10/10, but she put a fence around everything so you will have to sniff from afar. 🐶

Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park The Spot The Spot is over 1.25 acres of fully fenced (6' chain link) field with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is a packed sandy soil with dry groundcover during dry Summer, Fall, and Winter months, and mowed natural vegetation during the Spring and wetter Summer months. A walk around the interior fence line is about a quarter mile so it is great for the active dog owner too. This Sniffspot is a close, rural ambiance location in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. The Training Yard The Training Yard is a 60’ x 30’ fenced yard with a Dog Tuff ™ grass surface. This is a unique grass designed with dogs and drought tolerance in mind. The Training Yard is a place for your focused training. You can also use this area as a cool down area after playing in the field. And of course, this is a great yard for my guests with smaller paw prints. Please be mindful that you may want to roll in this grass with your dogs as I do with mine, so please spend time in the field area to potty your dogs before entering the Training Yard. The “Extras” The Spot and the Training Yard are included with your reservation. Some may take training to a competitive level, so I also have available as “Extras” a complete set of AKC Rally signs and equipment, AKC Obedience jumps, and some practice equipment for your Agility training. REACTION NOTICE: I share a 300-foot fence line with the neighbor to the west and have installed privacy screening to minimize distractions. The neighbor has dozens of loose chickens, and the dogs do not bother them. Dogs may bark with curiosity, which is normal and okay, but they often stop once they realize the chickens do not react. Also, the neighbor has a dog that infrequently, though on random occasion has access to this shared fence line. Please consider this if your dog is very highly reactive.

We are working hard to clean up the backyard again after the tornado went through, but fences are back up, and just some random tree branches left to pick up. The wood chips around the play ground did blow away to Kansas I’m guessing. The yard has concrete edging to protect your pups paws from the sharp metal edging that is out there. Plenty of shade on the deck or under the tree, water bowl for the pups, and hoping to get the little pool set up soon too. Otherwise, I am just posting to give you a heads up about all the dirt, dirt piles, and an “unsightly yard”. Thus far, all the dogs have loved all the smells and have enjoyed exploring all the dirt piles :). We have a big backyard, completely fenced in and it's a dog paradise. We have a deck for humans to sit on and hang while the pups play. Right now we have 2 large camp chairs set up but should be getting patio furniture at some point so it will be a little more comfortable. I have a Chuck-it and some other toys that you are welcome to play with and use. There is a water bowl out back and if it is empty or the dogs drink it all up, then there is a hose you can use to fill it up.
