There are areas of trails, woods, prairie, and mowed grass. There is a barbed-wire fence marking the property line around the property, however it is not fully-fenced. The area behind the house is quiet and peaceful and spacious. There is Chuck sticks and frisbees, but you have to bring your own balls. I always provide freshwater and dog treats and there are chairs for people to sit while their dogs run around. Also the home of Critterville self pet wash, if the dog gets stinky after it runs around it can get a warm bath before it goes home if the pet wash is available at that time. There is a sign to the left of the garage door that says Sniff Spot park here you can walk around the left side of the house and enter the backyard from that gate. Follow the signs.

There's a higher chance you may see a neighbor or hear kids playing in the evening or on the weekends when the weather is nice. I do stay on top of picking up dog's 💩 but I may occasionally miss one. I apologize if you happen to come across one. • There is a basket full of toys on the deck for your dog to choose from. I'm always adding new toys to keep things new and exciting. • In the warmer months, have a small or large plastic pool that you can add to your visit for an additional fee of either $3(small) or $5(large). Please message me prior to adding it to your visit to make sure I'll be around to get it set up for you. • A water bowl will be on the deck (during warmer months). • There is a hose you are welcome to use(May-Sept) • A poop bag holder with bags will be on the table on the deck. • There is a trash can for 💩 bags and garbage by the gate. • Seating is available when there's no snow. There are chairs around the fire pit and also on the deck. • There is quite a bit of lighting that can be put on to light up the backyard if needed. • I will leave a towel on the table for drying off wet dogs during the winter months and during the time when things can get messy when the snow is melting. If you add a plastic pool to your visit in the summer, I will leave a towel out also.

Read below for instructions.* The water is usually left ready to go, but the spigot on the side of the house is left off. To use it, open the valve on the side of the house by the driveway. We are about a quarter mile off the main road and our 10 acres go deeper into the woods. We have about 5 acres of wooded areas and 5 acres of open trails. It is a beautiful and private property. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. All proceeds from this Spot go to dog rescue. <3 SUMMER: Kiddie pool will be setup in warmer weather (65F and up) unless guest requests otherwise. There is a shallow plastic splashpad for littles/nervous dogs- please add on as an extra (no cost/free) if you want it setup (see photos for details), it requires a special hose hookup so I don't set it out unless asked.
