Wylie's Dog Yard In Lititz

Wylie's Dog Yard is a fully fenced half acre grass area located between a cow pasture and a pond. It includes a few trees that provide shade. This beautiful spot is a great place for dogs to run and chase balls.

Noble Yard

A huge tree was removed not too long ago. There is still chips that have to be cleaned up in the middle of the yard. Otherwise there’s chairs around a fire pit where you may relax and a huge umbrella that can give you shade. There’s is also a hammock you may enjoy! Do bring bug spray because there are some mosquitos.

Lovely, fully fenced yard secured by a gate (which also has mesh wire). The fence has recently been repaired to address any gaps at the bottom of the fence, but as with any spot, owners must watch their dogs at all times. The height of the fence (4-5 ft depending on slope) is suitable for most small and medium dogs and even large dogs who aren't jumpers. If your dog is a jumper or an escape artist, you may need a place with a higher fence. Owners are responsible for picking up after their dog with provided bucket and scoop. We scoop daily or more and endeavor to keep the spot poop free for your visit, however, understand that we do allow last minute bookings and that it is possible that if you book with very little time before the reservation begins, we may not be able to get out to the yard to check for any feces before you arrive. No other dogs will be present in yard while yard is rented, however, the neighbors do have 2 dogs that are outside occasionally but not often.

The area is shaded by large pine trees. The yard has some grass and some dirt to roll around on. Park your car on the stone driveway on the right side of the house and walk down the garden path to the lower double gate access to the yard.

We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. What I love about the yard is you can pretty much see the entire area from anywhere you stand so it makes for more relaxing and less worrying when your dog is out of sight.
