Nestled in Johnson City, TN on a private lot with a 4 ft. fenced in area surrounded by mature trees, you and your dog(s) will feel like you're in the country but actually within the city. Conveniently located approximately: 1.5 miles from the Johnson City Medical Center 2.2 miles from the Mountain Home VA Hospital 2.3 miles from ETSU 3.1 miles from downtown Johnson City Come relax, unwind, and listen to the birds chirping in my tranquil and peaceful setting while your pup(s) explore all the scents. If your pup is playful, there are plenty amenities and lots of toys to choose from. If your pup isn't and just wants to chill, there is a coolaroo dog bed to rest on. As a pup parent myself, I can appreciate the need to just chill and take in the beauty of nature while my pups burn off some energy from being cooped up in the house all day :) Hope you enjoy your time at Connie's Dogtopia as much as Finley, Fergus, Bocephus, and Fallon (on occasion) and I do! UPDATE 02.04.2024: every visit the pups have unlimited access to the wading pool(s), the Bazinga ball pit, Digger's Depot sandbox, the basic agility equipment and agility tunnel. And don't forget all of the toys to choose from in the brown deck box! 🙂 For the hoomans, there are two sitting area with tables and umbrellas. Next to the deckbox of toys, is a small table with beverages hot (tea, apple cider, cocoa) and cold (bottled water) to enjoy. Next to the gravel parking, there is a green bench with complimentary water sprayer, shampoo, bath wipes, paw cleaner, and towels to clean your pups off before heading home. Connie

‘Howl’ ya doing? We are paw-sitively certain you’ll have a ‘ball’ at our SniffSpot. Throw your car in ‘bark’ and let your pups enjoy our safe, fully enclosed, mowed acre. We guarantee you and your furry friends will have a great time. Please note there are chickens in an enclosed area of our property, they are fenced safely to keep any dog out.

4/13- The grass is really growing. Please understand this is a pasture for my animals and not a yard. I will not be mowing this area until it is time to hay it. I want you to enjoy it but it is unnecessary to message me that I should cut the grass. This is a huge pasture with sloped hills and a creek running through the bottom. Almost 5 acres of fenced pasture is used for horses and goats in the winter and hay in the summer. Grass will be long at times. The creek is shallow and lots to see and sniff! Tree covered places if you don’t want sun and many beautiful views for everyone to enjoy and play. If you have never been to this spot, it is worth the drive! This is the 2nd spot and close to the 1st spot. Please be sure to follow the directions. My goal for these spots is to be available for all dog owners who need it. I do have clients that book a month out at a time in order to get the time they would like. All I want is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Please pack out all trash, there are no trash cans onsite. Enjoy!

*UPDATE 4/11/24* The bugs can get really bad at certain times of year. Mostly gnats around the face and no-see-ums. I do provide bug spray and bug nets that work best when worn with a hat. The worst of the bugs are early spring (April-June). Not fenced but not immediately bordered by anything but forest or field on all sides. The property is 12 acres with mostly open or treed space. There is a small beach area with water calm enough for dogs to swim and fetch sticks. We have picnic tables and chairs that you can use but please pick up after yourself, your dog, and your kids. There is now a trashcan provided on the beach for your convenience. Downstream side of property has an “island” that can be explored. The neighbors property downstream starts shortly free the road narrows between the river and steep bank. It’s usually more overgrown and can visually tell the upkeep is different. Please avoid being on their property. Flood waters make signage difficult to use in this area. Just message me if you need more details on the boundary line.

A large pasture with fencing around everywhere except the top of the creek crossing running behind it. Bring a towel and enjoy! The bugs are back so a head screen or bug spray might make you more comfortable. Chairs and tables and sometimes a hammock provided creekside! Please do not bring more dogs than you have made your reservation for. If something changes please contact customer service and they can add dogs to your current reservation. Beautiful fields and woods for as far as the eye can see. Trails cut in the woods, trails cut through the fields. There is literally a trail I mow that winds all the way around the property. You can walk a sunny trail or a shady trail...my wife and I walk this trail with our six...yes you read that correctly SIX dogs just about every day. We are so lucky to call this home..I thought why not share it with you guys.

Our area is surrounded by rolling hills & beautiful trees 🌳, it looks and feels like 5 acres. Only 2 minutes from I-81 Exit #4 and only 4 miles from the I-40/I-81 interchange. Super easy access while traveling and just need a place to stop and let the doggos unwind. 🐕 35min from Knoxville, 35min from Sevierville, 1 hour from Tri-Cities area, and 1 hour from Asheville, NC. The perfect spot to stop and rest if travelling east or west on I-81/I-40. There is large double gate (main entrance) on the left side of the house that will lead you directly into the large backyard via a gravel walkway. You can back up right to this gate for easy unloading & loading. There is a small dog run (2nd entrance) on the right side of the house, fully fenced in area to leash and unleash. We offer benches and chairs to sit, with umbrellas for 🌞 & ☔️. FAQ: *Do you give a tour of your property? YES, we offer a free tour for any first time or new guests. We don’t want any visitor to feel nervous or unsure during their visit. So just let us know if you prefer a tour and when you arrive (before letting your pups out). We will take you on a tour and show where everything is located, how to open gates, show you the door to the restroom, etc. 😊👍 (Sorry this will not apply if we will not be home during your visit.) *What is a private Dog Park/Playground? Quite simply it means that you make an appointment through the app. Only you, your friends and the dogs you bring are in the totally fenced Playground during that time. You can book 30 min to 5 hours at a time. *Can you have a birthday party with children and your dog? YES *Can we have more than one car? YES *Can we take pictures? YES, PLEASE DO. *Is there an entrance fee for people? No *Can we bring lunch? YES *Will your dogs be in the yard? No, just yours. *Do you have a place for the adults to sit? YES. We have 2 chairs & 2 benches with umbrella. We also have a waterproof blanket for you and your pup. *Are the toys & bowls cleaned before each visit? YES, we offer sanitized bowls and toys.
