Enjoy our secluded dog pasture located on a dead end in Beaverdam. As you enter the gravel driveway, you will see designated parking alongside a shaded shed. Just a short walk away is the entrance to a fully fenced doggie pasture. In warmer months, the (4) chairs and a table will have an umbrella available for some shade. We also will have a shade sail for the pups use as well as a garden hose and drinking bowl (for the dogs only preferred). There are covered dog shelters so your pooch can have some shade. Doo doo bags, a scooper and trash can are nearby for cleaning up. The area is far removed from the street We are easily reached should you have any issues at all and the area has security cameras for safety. We do not have any outside pets that will interfere with your visit. A burn barrel and wood is available for visits in the cooler months. The Burton Family Farm is a family-owned, 49-acre farm. It’s open, clear land, with a 3 acre pond, a beautiful spot in Holly Corner. Someone is at home, on the property, 24 hours a day. Easy to get to, we are located right off route 17 & 5 miles from 95, right behind Stafford Lakes. My family has lived in Holly Corner since the 1800s, it is safe and quiet. Come enjoy the fresh air, beautiful view, relaxing farm with your dog or dogs! We are a different type of a working farm, as we provide storage and camping on the property and we also grow hay. Throughout all of the years I spent in animal rescues, I realized that most dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals have trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. Beautiful isolated 13-acre spot in the country. There is a clear, well-maintained marked trail through the woods to an area with springs, a creek, and a watershed. Moving on down the 1/4 mile driveway past the house is a path down to the Tye River that has a nice-sized riverbank (beach) for romping and water splashing. Swimming dogs can venture onto the rocks to explore the river. Those who want to exercise can hike up/down the stream, climb big rocks, and other obstacles. This highly wooded area has lots to explore “off path” and on path, so you can never experience everything in one visit. This is heaven for dogs and for those who prefer a challenging exploration vs a standard field or yard to explore. The walk to the creek/springs/watershed is a beautiful, relatively easy walk. The river walk, while there is a trail, is pretty steep and rocky, and it's a good workout to get back up. Join us at Bear’s Creek for an adventure your dog will thank you for! Rules for the river: Low tide, all are welcome. High tide, swimmers only, or dogs with excellent recall. Raging River, closed to all. If you're most interested in the river and you know we have had a lot of rain, you can message me prior to booking for river status. Property has about an acre fenced in and over 4 un fenced. The fenced in portion is near impossible to escape as there is wiring across it as well. You are free to use the unfenced portion as well, just let us know before hand, stay on our property and pick up after your fur baby.

On the property their are goats and chickens for your entertainment, however they are safely fenced behind a 6 foot fence in their own play area. We do have 3 dogs of our own, but they are fenced in with our underground fencing and with notice, we will be happy to lock them inside the house for your peace of mind and comfort!
