There is ample parking and a turn around so you do not need to back out onto a busy road. There are trash bins for poop bags, a water faucet on the outside of the house and a green crock for a water bowl. I try to have a chair or two available as well.

Attention: The river is not safe to cross during high waters especially in the spring. Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Rubber boots are recommended! At times the river will be high, and you may only have access to the first half of the trails. Cross the river at your own discretion. There are still plenty of trails to discover! Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. There is also bug spray in the cabinet at the trail entrance. Please do not park in the standing water. Also the gate area in early spring does flood and you will need rubber boots to cross this portion to access the fenced area. Check local weather conditions the day before and the day of your reservation for rain. If it was dry for days then the water usually drains away. Parking is still on my driveway until the snow melts completely. The Sniffspot area is located at the back of my property. Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly.
