Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The yard has a mix of dirt, mulch, mature landscaping, trees, and a large deck for humans to relax while dogs enjoy the space. One of the best features is the south-facing back gate, which opens directly to the public trail system. You can enjoy private yard time first, then leash up and head straight out for a longer walk without getting back in the car. The yard is fully fenced at approximately 6 feet, with mostly wood privacy fencing and a wood-framed wire section along the open-space side. Because the rear fence is partially see-through, you may occasionally see or hear walkers, cyclists, dogs, or wildlife on the trail. High clearance is not needed but in winter, you should have winter tires / 4wd / AWD or backup chains. -You will probably not have cell service here. I will provide the WiFi info before you arrive. I also recommend downloading Google Maps for offline use. -Terrain is uneven, please watch your step. -There are dog toys throughout the yard. -The silver trash can is for dog poop. You will find dog bags on the fence next to it. -You can’t see any other houses from the fenced area. -You may encounter wildlife (moose, deer, etc)… typically outside of the fence but possible they could jump inside. -You should typically not see any other dog or human. You might hear a dog barking in the distance or occasionally my dog barking from inside. You might see me walking around inside my home through the windows. There is a small chance my neighbors will ride their horses behind the fenced area but this is not common and they usually move through quickly. -If you need towels, please ask ahead of time. -Please, no digging in the area with short grass near the house, near any fence lines or near the solar array or well head. Do not enter the solar array or well head enclosure. -Access on the property is limited to the fenced area.

You won't have any issues with dogs or people on adjacent properties! This property is surrounded by National Forest and unfenced/unused private property. In addition, you have another acre for agility, complete with jumps, tunnels, dog walk, a-frame, teeter, etc. All high end equipment. The running surface is flat & covered with wood chips. The course is changed every Monday morning. Course maps are in the box hanging on the entrance gate. The wood chips are all from local trees, so no worries about added chemicals, etc. Several seating areas are provided, along with a picnic table.
