Mimms's 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Angier

Partially Fenced
25 acres

Hidden River Farm is a 40 plus acre paradise for humans and dogs. We opened our organic orchard 6 years ago and it operates annually from June to October. So we have decided to try to open it up for use year around if possible. We welcome folks to bring their dogs out to run, retrieve, train or just play for awhile to get the energy out. There is an abundance of land. We offer a picnic area with table and chairs. Both tables offer umbrellas for shade if needed. We have water spigots so that the dogs can have clean drinking water. We also are breeders of Champion Labrador Retrievers. We have chickens, ducks, donkeys, horse and more. We are a working farm that believes sharing is a great thing these days.

55This location was a little hard for me to find, and it didn’t help that they were doing work on the main road directly in front of their address lol. But the host gave great instructions. My dog Daisy loves to sniff and run so she had a wonderful time. My only concern is if your dog does not have great recall, you must keep your dog on a long line like I did which became very challenging because there is a lot of sticks and logs everywhere and it makes for a unpleasant walk because the least continues to tangle. But if you can find a open spot with no sticks or logs, you’ll be fine, but my dog Daisy had a wonderful time.

Frequently asked questions about Lillington dog hiking trails

Where can I find dog hiking trails in Lillington?

Lillington has 17 private dog hiking trails available through Sniffspot, offering natural exploration and varied terrain in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 165.6+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Lillington dog hiking trails provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog hiking trails are in Lillington?

Lillington offers 17 dog hiking trails ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find options such as dog field, fully fenced dog park, dog agility park, and more. Each Lillington dog hiking trail listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Lillington dog hiking trails good for all dog types?

Yes! Lillington dog hiking trails work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Lillington's 17 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Lillington dog hiking trails?

Not a chance. Lillington dog hiking trails operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Lillington owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Lillington dog hiking trails safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Lillington dog hiking trails provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment without overwhelming encounters. Many Lillington dog owners specifically choose dog hiking trails for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Lillington dog hiking trails?

Absolutely! Lillington dog hiking trails are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog hiking trail in Lillington?

Start by filtering Lillington's 17 dog hiking trails for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Lillington's Nori's Playground - 5 Fully Fenced Acres and Dog Agility Course in Chapel Hill with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Lillington owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Lillington's dog hiking trail requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Lillington host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog hiking trails welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
