For humans, we provide sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and bug spray. Towels for both people and dogs can be added to your booking as an extra if you’d rather not bring your own. 💦 The yard is regularly treated for ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes using pet- and environmentally friendly products, so you can enjoy your visit with peace of mind. Please pick up after your dog before you leave so we can keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone. Max number of guests allowed at a visit is 6 people. Spacious backyard, one side is fenced, the other a run off creek. The very back is fully fenced. Quiet, privacy, dead end, animal friendly area. We have fully fenced chickens against our house. Our fenced neighbors occasionally have their dog out/visible, but fenced in. I care for special needs and abandoned animals (primarily avian). We would be happy to let our yard go to good use!

We have 3.3 wooded acres set back from the cul de sac and we back up to Duke Progress public game land. Previous owners created a trail out there that connects to a power line cut and 4x4 trails. First things first: “Will the horses be out there when my dog is?” NO! The horses will be put away if I know someone is coming. While friendly towards most dogs, safety comes first so the horses will be in a seperate area. HOWEVER - it is just a rope fence, so dogs can get in and out as they feel comfortable interacting with the horses. I do NOT recommend letting them mingle unsupervised in that area. As far as the pasture goes, it is 2.5 acres and fenced all the way around the perimeter. Dogs cannot get in or out without human help. Tons of room to run and play. I have two huskies that are game for friends if wanted. The pond is pretty big and my guys love to swim in it!
