The Orchard 🍎

We’re excited to share our private 2-acre organic apple orchard with you and your dog! It is completely enclosed with a 10-foot tall fence. It’s great for dogs who love to run as well as those who need a quiet place to explore. Because our farm sits a bit off the main road, it is usually a peaceful and relaxing environment. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, trees in bloom, and our sunflower patch! There is occasional mud especially right after a rain. There are bee boxes located outside of the back/northern fence line (your dog will not be able to access them). Due to the nature of our property and the outdoor environment, I cannot guarantee the absence of wildlife, wildlife scat, insects, mud, fallen fruit, weather-related conditions, or other natural elements. A lower/pit area with more mature trees is visible from the trails and adds to the secluded, natural feel of the property, although that area is not currently part of the maintained walking path. The property is not fenced, so dogs should remain leashed or on a long line unless they have reliable recall. Because this is a natural field, you may encounter the normal assortment of country residents and annoyances, including insects, ticks, wildlife, uneven ground, and seasonal plants. For your visit, you’ll have: * Two designated parking spaces at the end of the paved driveway * A dog waste bag station * A trash can for used bags * Clearly mowed paths through the field * Plenty of room for a peaceful sniffari away from busy parks This is a simple, natural space designed for dogs who don’t need playground equipment or fancy amenities.
