Fully Fenced
0.06 acres

Welcome to our quiet, country yard—formerly a goat pen! This fully fenced 3,690 sq. ft. space is located at the end of a dead-end road in beautiful Cumberland, Maine. Nonesuch Meadows Farm

Unfenced
30 acres

Enjoyable farm fields with lots of room for dogs to roam and play. Wildlife does show up at times, anywhere from deer, turkeys, skunks and porcupines. Our main field does abut a golf course, and often get stray balls fly over the fence into our field. To avoid being hit by one, I’d recommend staying more towards the middle to right of the field. During deer season we do require the owner and dog to be wearing orange, and don’t have guests come on Saturdays. We do hay our fields in the summer (May/June-September) time, and once that begins we will set up a schedule with specific areas that can be utilized.

Seth's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Scarborough

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

Frequently asked questions about Otisfield dog parks

What amenities do private dog parks in Otisfield offer that public parks don't?

Otisfield private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Zuzu's Zoomie Acres at Wilde Kind Farm is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Otisfield listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.

Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Otisfield?

Yes! Most of Otisfield's 147 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Otisfield listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.

How clean are private dog parks in Otisfield compared to public ones?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Otisfield are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Otisfield maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Otisfield hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.

What types of dog parks can I find in Otisfield?

Otisfield has 147 diverse options: fully fenced dog parks for specific training activities, small dog parks for different environments, and dog fields for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Otisfield to find convenient options.

Can I book Otisfield dog parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Otisfield Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Otisfield private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.

Do Otisfield dog parks have water access?

Many do! Filter Otisfield's 147 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Otisfield's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Otisfield hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.

Are there indoor dog parks in Otisfield?

Yes! Otisfield has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Otisfield locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Otisfield's covered and climate-controlled options.

What's the best time to visit dog parks in Otisfield?

With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Otisfield. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Otisfield locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
