David's 66 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Brevard

Unfenced
66 acres

My property has multiple trails, 2 small fields, streams, a large pond for swimming, and a dog wash station! Lots of space to play. Truly a dog paradise! My property is located on a long, gravel driveway (named by me as Maple Gap Rd) off Frozen Creek Road and just a short distance from the back entrance of Gorges State Park. Once turning onto Frozen Creek Road it’s about 1.3 miles on your right. You’ll see a small green sign saying Maple Gap Road and a Sniffspot sign. Parking is available beside the garage (looks like a house). Ok to park behind my silver truck that stays there. You’ll see a Sniffspot ‘park here’ sign, a dog waste station with bags, and a brown bench with tennis balls, water bowls, and bug spray in a storage bin under the seat. Access to the two small fields and stream is across the gravel driveway. My two homes on the property are vacation rentals by owner. If you see guests they may/may not have dogs. Make sure to introduce yourself as a Sniffspot customer. Also, please call or text owner to give advance notice, along with your names and dogs. Thank you! 678-640-0359

Room to Zoom…Tracey's 7.4 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Greenville

Unfenced
7.4 acres

We are currently overwhelmed with debris from the hurricane and recent storms. Most of the debris has to be temporarily staged in the area that is a portion of the SniffSpot area. If you would like to bring your pup to roam and play in the creek on a hot day, please message me first and I will check the clean-up schedule. Please understand we welcome you but the grassy field is not currently up to our standards. This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with future additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.

Zoomieland in Downtown Fountain Inn

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Zoomieland offers more than an acre of flat, open, fenced-in doggie joy and is spacious enough to reach full-on sprint speeds to get those zoomies out. Located just blocks from the heart of downtown Fountain Inn, including dog friendly places such as The Mill and Voodoo Brewing, and one mile off of 385, Zoomieland offers easy street parking along the fence line, near the rear of the Younts Center and Excel Academy. Entrance is the small gate next to the parking lot. The field features some mature oak and pecan trees around the perimeter. Throughout the day, the shade moves so please feel free to move the chairs to where you and your pups will be happiest. Also, let your dogs get their zoomies out after dark! We have lights? However, please be aware that the field is not lit up with powerful, stadium type lights. It's a soft glow and not all areas of the field are illuminated - areas around the trees have motion-detection lights only and can be a bit dark. However, Zoomieland lends out glow-in-the dark collars, so that you can spot your dogs wherever they go! Just some little warnings: * There are some prickly-type plants in the vegetation - I recommend that people avoid those areas. * Watch your step as the field has some uneven areas and some active ant mounds. * An adjoining neighbor has a dog. They are very good at bringing him in but nonetheless, there could be dog nearby. * Zoomieland is near train tracks and twice a day a train passes by and is quite loud. * The adjoining parking is usually very quiet but there is a church service on Sundays at 11:20 so expect people walking nearby around 11am and noon-ish. * There is a daycare nearby and throughout weekdays, little ones play outside. * Lastly, there are times when the Younts Center has an event, where there are many people walking by. It's not often but it can happen on the weekends. Also, I'm not a stickler for time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, then stay an extra 10 minutes. If you arrive 5 minutes early, go on in. If you're running late, check with me and I'll let you know if it's okay to stay any later. Please feel free to upload pictures of your pups on my Sniffspot listing! :) Zoomieland is home field of Deuce, Fountain Inn Police Department K-9. We donate access to our Sniffspot so that he can enjoy Zoomieland too!

Frequently asked questions about Pickens dog parks

Why are private dog parks better than public ones in Pickens?

Private dog parks in Pickens eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments that can overwhelm puppies, seniors, small dogs, or reactive pets. Sniffspot's 450 private Pickens locations offer complete privacy, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. Whether you have a nervous puppy or a dog-selective adult, private bookings give you control and peace of mind.

How are Pickens Sniffspot locations different from public dog parks?

Pickens Sniffspots offer: (1) Complete privacy with no other dogs during your booking, (2) Controlled environments without aggressive dogs or chaos, (3) Flexible scheduling based on availability, not rigid park hours, (4) Safety for dogs of all temperaments and ages, (5) Vetted and reviewed locations—93% of visits get 5-star reviews. You get all the benefits of off-leash exercise in Pickens without public dog park risks.

Can reactive dogs safely use Pickens dog parks?

Yes, and this is exactly what Sniffspot was designed for! Pickens has 450 private locations where reactive dogs can exercise off-leash without encountering other animals. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers between visitors, your reactive dog won't face the triggers that make public dog parks impossible. Many Pickens owners of reactive dogs rely on Sniffspot as their only safe exercise option.

What amenities help anxious or reactive dogs in Pickens?

Look for Pickens locations with "fewer dogs seen/heard" to minimize triggers for reactive dogs. Secure fencing prevents escapes during stress. Quiet, spacious properties reduce anxiety. Some Pickens hosts specifically cater to nervous or reactive dogs with extra privacy features. Read reviews to find hosts who understand fearful or reactive dog needs.

How clean are Pickens dog parks?

Unlike public dog parks where cleanliness varies wildly, Sniffspot hosts in Pickens maintain their own spaces and take pride in providing clean environments. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers) to prevent disease transmission. Many Pickens hosts provide poop bags and trash cans. Reviews highlight cleanliness, so you can choose well-maintained locations.

Can I visit Pickens dog parks with multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Pickens Sniffspots welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (like 2-3 dogs maximum), which will be noted on the listing. If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward other dogs—Sniffspot's private bookings let them play together safely without outside interference.

Are Pickens dog parks good for senior dogs?

Yes! Pickens Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or large dogs. Look for Pickens spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility.

How do I find dog parks in Pickens for small dogs?

Filter Pickens's 450 locations by "small dog friendly" to find spaces specifically suited for toy breeds and small dogs. These tend to be more intimate, with secure fencing that prevents squeezing through gaps. Some Pickens hosts have separate small dog areas or cater specifically to petite pups who might get overwhelmed at large public dog parks.
