Acker's 10 Acre Private Dog Park In Afton
We are about a quarter mile off the main road and our 10 acres go deeper into the woods. We have about 5 acres of wooded areas and 5 acres of open trails. It is a beautiful and private property. The property is 100% fenced- the fencing is 3 feet high- there is a gate in the driveway, once closed it is completely fenced in. We have water available for dogs- due to the cold weather, please message me if you want water available during your visit and I will put it out ahead of time if I am home.

Country Sights and Sounds
A beautiful mix of field, woods, and wetland, let your pup(s) run off that energy! The field trail is almost a 0.5 mi loop, but add on an extra trail to get more of your steps in! A short out-and-back path surrounded by tall wetland grass will lead you to a cool, clean segment of Lowes Creek (when it is dry enough for us to mow the trail…boots recommended!). Every season is special and accessible! This may mean snow, mud, puddles, or bugs, so please plan accordingly for all the country sights and sounds. *Cell reception is often spotty depending on your carrier.* Take a peek at our extra offerings when you book: Farm Friend Exposure and Run like the Wind!.

Several benches are placed along the rustic trails, but of course, there is no need to stay on a trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use in summer. There is a roofed picnic/shade shelter just up the hill from the hydrant. Take in the serene view of the surrounding area, and get a Birdseye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the nearby paddocks. Wire-wheel tables and chairs are available for relaxing, hanging out with your dog or having a picnic.
