Fallen branches, wildlife and other normal outdoor conditions may occasionally be present. 🐦🐿️ The lowest fencing is approximately 4 feet high. This field may not be suitable for dogs that can jump, climb or escape over a 4-foot fence. 👀 PRIVACY AND DISTRACTIONS Our family dogs do not enter the Sniffspot field during confirmed reservations. They may occasionally be seen or heard from our separate family yard or house. Dogs, people, cyclists, vehicles and other animals may also sometimes be seen or heard outside the property. This is a good option for dogs that benefit from private space but can tolerate occasional sights and sounds. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs. Please keep dogs leashed until you are in the designated enclosed area. There is a 30 minute gap between bookings so you dont run into a dog leaving the field. Our space has been a favorite for people with reactive dogs as you literally have wide open space all to yourself and your dog companion. April 2023 Field is currently all in grass- We will take first cutting grass off sometime the first couple weeks of May. I will keep you posted here.

LAPS Sniff Spot

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD due to this app, not accepting Canadian funds. This space has some a covered sitting area with bench, poop bags and a disposal bucket. Great spot for throwing the ball with the chuck-it, digging box (please don't let them take ALL the sand out) and a climbing apparatus for the dogs away from the fence line. Only vaccinated dogs use this space. Park and go straight to the front fenced yard for your time period. We ask that you do not walk your dog around the property or bring them into the shelter - only to and from the yard. There is a no "nose-to-nose" rule at the facility and no dog is too be off leash on the grounds unless contained in the fenced yard. Public washroom available while your dog is contained in your vehicle, inside the shelter between 9am and 5:30pm.
