This fully fenced yard has off street parking right at the entrance gate. Pups will enjoy running circles around the yard and cooling off with a drink from conveniently located water bowls. The yard is full of flowers, berries, and other produce (this spot isn’t just for pups to enjoy - help yourself. Though, many pups also enjoy sampling the blueberries and strawberries). There are also several seating options to choose from including a wooden picnic table, a metal bench & rocking chair, several fabric seats around a fire pit, a metal picnic table inside a screened porch (with ceiling fan), or a hammock that you can enjoy in the sun or shade.

Our 6 foot wooden privacy fence surrounds almost half an acre of grass that is regularly mowed. Our landscaping includes opportunity for your dogs to leap from the ledge of our retaining wall, sniff and explore several woodpiles and a "fairy garden" stick pile - which houses native bugs and frogs. We provide dog bags and a bucket of dogs toys on our deck, we also provide fresh water for your dogs to drink, as long as we're home when you make your booking. You are welcome to park in my driveway or on the street in front of the home. Please stay off the deck. There is a patio on the ground where beach chairs are available for people to sit. Water is also available from the garden hose under the deck to wash your pup or to give them a drink. Place your trash in the trash can under the deck stairs prior to leaving.

I will provide a bowl of fresh water whenever I am able to do so, but it might be a good idea to bring some fresh drinking water for your pets if you think you’ll need it. Sorry for the inconvenience! Welcome to our 1 acre fully fenced private dog park! Some quick tips, make sure to look for our brick driveway as some GPS systems will navigate to our neighbors house. The gates are cattle style gates, to enter the backyard lift straight up on the back metal lever and push forward. Our fencing is mostly split rail fencing with some privacy fencing as well. There is wire around the entire perimeter to ensure safety. If you have extra small or toy size dogs I would recommend caution, but the fence is secure. We occasionally hear some dogs barking in our neighborhood, and my dogs on occasion but rarely may bark as well. I would also note that there are a few indoor/outdoor cats in our neighborhood that can be seen from time to time. A couple of further notes to be aware of. First off, this is not a small yard that is perfectly kept with 100% grass coverage. It is a very large field with some large trees especially in the back. Because of that, if we get heavy rain it will likely be a bit soggy, and there might be some spots of mud. This is mostly noticeable in the cooler months, but even in the summer if we get enough rain it is possible. If you have any issues with your dogs running and playing in a large field/wooded environment after heavy rainfall please be aware and schedule accordingly! Another note is there is a train that runs along the back of the house beyond the fence up on the hill. The dogs never seem to mind it though, we actually like it! Other than that, it is a very quiet neighborhood. I hope you enjoy!
