Bianca's Fully Fenced Yard

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

Let your pup(s) run free! Our yard is fully fenced and 4 ft tall. There is plenty of space to run around and some shaded areas to cool down. Parents have a place to sit too! There’s a hose and water bowl as well. We have 2 dogs of our own that would love to play, but that is completely optional. Our neighbors behind us have chickens they let roam so don’t be surprised if you see them right up against our fence. They can be quite entertaining to watch. Toys may be scattered but are also located next to the grill as pictured. Poop bags are to the left of garage door next to the bush (also pictured). Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to send us a pic of your dog enjoying our yard :)

Frequently asked questions about Portage dog parks

What amenities do private dog parks in Portage offer that public parks don't?

Portage private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Mutts of Merit in Motion, Indiana, PA is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Portage listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.

Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Portage?

Yes! Most of Portage's 125 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Portage listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.

How clean are private dog parks in Portage compared to public ones?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Portage are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Portage maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Portage hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.

What types of dog parks can I find in Portage?

Portage has 125 diverse options: small dog parks for specific training activities, fully fenced dog parks for different environments, and dog fields for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Portage to find convenient options.

Can I book Portage dog parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Portage Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Portage private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.

Do Portage dog parks have water access?

Many do! Filter Portage's 125 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Portage's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Portage hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.

Are there indoor dog parks in Portage?

Yes! Portage has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Portage locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Portage's covered and climate-controlled options.

What's the best time to visit dog parks in Portage?

With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Portage. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Portage locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
