55I was SO EXCITED to find this Sniffspot around PG! We are new to the area and our dogs are used to having open fields to roam in, since we are from Saskatchewan and this was perfect for them. One of our dogs can be dog reactive, so having a safe place to take him, with no stressors for us, is absolutely special. It was an amazing family hour and the dogs were so happy to just be without any restrictions or leashes. It isn’t fenced, plus it is a BIG AREA, so if your dog does not have a good recall, a long lead is definitely needed but it was perfect for our three! No busy roads and no one around, and it is a perfect walk down to the end of the field and back. Thanks so much for making this available for our fur kids. We will be regulars!Kaitlin P.

55Great spot! Following her directions it is very easy to find the access. No signs or anything. Barbed fence, so dogs will need good recall or a long lead. We loved it!! My girl had so much fun frolicking in the field and smelling all the different smells. We will be back for sure. Kaysha M.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
