55Highly recommend this spot!!! I have brought my dogs all over alberta and BC and this is by far the best sniffspot we've found! Trails to wonder through and a creek to splash in! Definitely worth the short drive from kamloops! The treats were a nice bonus to bribe my dogs to get in the car once it was time to go because they did NOT want to leave! 😂. The road down looks steep but it's not too bad! Had no issues getting down there and there were some signage too to show where to go! Some houses are in view but besides some birds chirping we didn't hear or see any other animals or people! We will be making this a regular outing for sure! Candy C.

55We were passing through Bellingham and needed to tire the pup out but only had 30 minutes. It was a great experience, easy to get to, and the area was really excellent for fetch because there is a downhill grade so my dog got tired even after 30 minutes! The only thing to consider would be the slope of the hill, which could be challenging for some folks.
Kaci was responsive and left us to ourselves, which was helpful because Raja is reactive to people and dogs he hasn't properly met.

Three separate field areas connected by paths, and while they aren’t fenced it’s such a secluded area and surrounded by fairly dense brush that our dog never tried to venture out of the fields. Great for practicing recall, playing games and generally just enjoying being outside.
Decent size hills to walk up and down (great for working the muscles!), but the small field at the top is quite flat. There are enough trees that we found some nice shade in the late afternoon, and the humans appreciated the chairs provided.
We really appreciate having this space available to take our dog-reactive pup to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about encounters with other dogs. Sarah K.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
