My frenchie canine bestie was named Billie so our Sniffspot is named after her. She passed away recently and our yard is missing that lovely dog energy! If you are looking for a private fenced yard for dogs on Vancouver Island, you have the perfect place! The yard is green in the spring, summer & fall. It's rainy and grey in the winter but still a charming outdoor spot for dog exercise, play and relaxation. We have a small living room for dogs to play inside if that is a preference. Of course, we will need to make arrangements for any indoor bookings as the spaces are shared between 3-4 humans who reside on the property. We look forward to hosting your K9s! Space includes a small wooded area within the fenced area. Bathroom available on site in the smaller barn. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs or severely reactive. Please keep dogs leashed until it is your time slot and are in the designated area and keep in mind you may pass another dog owner with their dog on a leash leaving or entering the spot. IF YOU CAN NOT CONTROL YOUR DOG ON A LEASH WHEN PASSING ANOTHER DOG PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS SPOT. Lots of seniors visit this spot and they may need some extra time to walk to their cars. For the most part spacing between guests has been good. Please read the essential rules the website has suggested in order to keep this a fun and safe place for dogs. Guests can be blocked from booking again if they do not respect the space or who are rude to me. Please check the spot descriptions for all details regarding animals on the property. There is a spot in the back for digging and a place to run in the summer. We have a hose and a sprinkler and a little patio area to sit and let your dog run around while you hang out! We have a few water bowls for your pup, and an umbrella you can put out if you want some shade! We have a covered area where you can sit in case it is raining! we have a bin of toys available just please return them before you leave!

The area available is not fenced and is 3.5 acres, situated entirely off the road. The main play space is an heirloom apple orchard with 25+ beautiful old gnarled trees in an unmowed meadow. My own reactive dog loves to spring through the tussocks and uses the trees like an obstacle course. Beyond the meadow is 3.5 acres of hawthorn scrub that’s great for dogs, but not easily human-penetrable. Perfect for letting adventurous dogs have a solo romp if they have good recall. Welcome to The Fetch Factory, where doggos and their humans come to chill! Our indoor dog park is all yours for rent – throw a paw-some party, hang with furry pals, and relax in our secure environment. Bring treats, drinks, and let the good times roll while your pup plays. It's the ultimate spot for tail-wagging fun and relaxed vibes. Formally a film studio and now yours to rent and enjoy! We have concrete floors, a full kitchen, and a ton of space to run and play - as well as lots of seating for people and pets alike!

COMING SOON in JUNE. This is a fully enclosed chicken coop that is 18.5 feet long, meshed. I am converting it into a place for very small dogs to have a safe space to be off leash in a grassy spot with a cover so they are safe from pray birds. It will also be a space where people with adventure cats are free to book, so there will some cat climbing trees. For a cat, please message for details, you will have to book through the Swimply App, as sniff spot is only designed for dog visitors. My vision for this encloser is to have hay grass, a couple of young cedar trees that can be transplanted later when they are getting too big for the enclosure. Some logs/ stumps... trying to recreate a mini forest inside the space. With shade and chairs for humans to sit and relax. I will be adding some agility equipment for small dogs or cats to practice jumping through hoops and doing adorable stuff.
