Hawthorn and alder stands with occasional crab apple. Wild roses and blackberries are prolific. Expect to see occasional cottontail, swallows, hawks and meadow voles. Possible sightings of elk, deer, coyote, bobcat and raptors depending upon the time of year and day. Porta potty for sniff users only. Shaded seating in SW corner of parcel. We have a giant hill leading down to a majority of our property. Then it's open grass field and some forested area with only one neighboring house visible. It's common to see deer, rabbits, and Eagles. People and dogs can get a great workout on the hill, or you can throw a ball from the top and leave the workout to the dog.

About 4 of the acres is heavily wooded with very mature evergreens & maples. There is a very nice wide trail with lots of little ups & downs & obstacles. The trail is walkable in 5-10 depending on pace. The rest of the property is mostly native grass & weeds with some European grass that surrounds our house & shop in the middle of the property. No busy roads very peaceful & quiet.

Acres of fun space to explore: wide open areas for ball throwing etc., a couple of trails through the trees, a long mowed driveway, a budding forest to tromp through, and tall grass fields. The camp area has a compost toilet, table, chairs, hand washing station and fire pit (bring your own firewood etc.) Enjoy!
