A beautiful, spacious orchard where dogs can run freely while humans relax on the outdoor couch. Dog toys are available, and in summer there is a doggie pool. Two elevated dog beds are provided for resting and cooling off. A doggie water bowl is available, with easy access to water for refills if needed. A poop scoop and trash can are also provided for convenience. Please note: dogs are not allowed on the couch. The couch is for humans only. Please uncover it before sitting. Thank you for helping keep the space clean and comfortable for everyone. Evening visits are not advised, as lighting is limited. There are a few motion lights along the fence and a nearby streetlight that helps somewhat, but it may not provide enough visibility for everyone.

The best way I can describe the backyard is a mix of Grass, Dirt, and pavement. For the Human guest we have a nice seating area under a gazebo with sun shades to stay cool. Water bottles will be provided as well.

DOGGIE SWIM IS AN EXTRA ! Fully fenced in backyard .Private neighborhood in Van Nuys. $21 a pup . The park will be closed on most Wednesdays for pool and yard maintenance but check schedule. Please Note: the swimming pool is for the dogs unless you are helping them in or out of the pool, or training in the shallow end . You are, of course, allowed in the pool during that time. THE POOL IS CONSIDERED AN EXTRA ! It is $12 for a medium sized dog and $17an hour for large and extra large dogs and additional charges per length of appt. Please be honest during your booking . ONE PARENT ONE POOCH ONLY unless prearranged. I will be charging $10 extra if other people show up . There is absolutely no diving , jumping , or doing laps. Please refrain from using Hawaiian Tropic or other suntan products that cloud the water and please BRUSH YOUR PUP before swim to reduce fur in pool. If your pup is prone to excessive shedding or barking we would not be a good match. If you have a dog under 10lbs please let me know ahead of your visit as I have pressure gates for use to prevent your pup from getting through the wrought iron gate . NO CHILDREN! Lovely grassy play area has many trees and seating. The shade from the trees in the afternoon is lovely. We are the longest running SS in the area- hosting doggies since 2020! The Sniffspot play area is from driveway to rear of property. A row of chairs semi-blocks Hosts area of backyard belongings, but it is not a problem for doggoes or hoomans to temporarily go there to sniff, pee and fetch balls. The drought, popularity & watering restrictions do affect the condition of the grass. The rest of the yard is not accessible to Sniffspot including using the bathroom. Fenced backyard area is along side street. Most of the 4-foot fence side street side is covered with privacy slats & landscaping. The chain-link driveway entrance only has privacy slats. You would be the only guest for your booked time. Please securely latch & rechain gate when arriving & departing. Refer to photos.
