What people say about dog parks around Savannah, Tennessee
Vaden had a great time playing in the large, open yard. There was plenty of room to run, fetch, and burn LOTS of energy! She left happy and exhausted.
me and Zep had an awesome visit. very spacious and great place to play fetch! the owners even sat out water for my pup!
Catherine was so great! We were late to our booking but she and her husband came right out and made us feel at home. They provided doggy bags and toys, cold water, and treats. My city dog slept the whole ride home. He had so much fun running around! We will definitely visit again
Truman loved sniffing around the woods of the property. Lauralee was very nice and communicative in our messages. We had a great time there!
We love this Sniffspot! They were very helpful and even provided a map so I could keep track of where we were the whole time. Everything was clearly marked and there were trails that had been mowed down to make it easier to walk around. You really do have almost full access to everywhere on site, with few exceptions. It was clear they take a lot of care with this Sniffspot and we will definitely be back! I do recommend making sure you have tick/bug preventative and supplies on hand due to the fact this is a rural area but nothing terrible and even my more timid dog has zero problems while here.
This spot was unbelievable. You have 44 acres to roam around in, there's creeks and forests, wooded areas, resting areas, anything one could want for themselves or their dog.
I brought one of my dogs, Moose a goldador.
I wanted to make sure he got to see the creek as he's somewhat of a timid dog and I'm wanting him to have new experiences. The creek was wonderful, cool and very, very peaceful. However my dog had no clue what he was supposed to do. He stood there looking at me like "well, it's water".
I told him he wasn't being very grateful and he just looked at me and smiled. I told him next time I'm bringing his brother Charlie.
This is a wonderful Sniffspot. The host was very pleasant and helpful, and there's a wonderful map of the farm. I doubt you could get lost. Why don't you give it a try.
Love love love this placeee. Second time coming and it’s jus as best as the first time. Always clean , very private , and just a big nice area for your dogs ;)
Lovely and relaxing for humans, exciting and plenty of room to run around and play for dogs. Had a wonderful time and can't wait to bring my pups back!
My dog Rooster LOVED this sniff spot! Plenty of open space to run, roll in the grass, swim in the pond and investigate sniff spots! Clean, well maintained landscape and a picture perfect deck off the pond! A real treat for you and your dog!!
Our first visit and the boys had a great time! They really loved visiting the chickens and wading into the pond. It was a great experience and even my blind Boston terrier was able to be off leash. Thank you for a nice visit we will be back! They are all now tired and snoring!
The girls really enjoyed playing, running and seeing the chickens. They both jumped in the water and it was awesome to have clean water for them to drink at the well. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Hope to visit again.
The place was lovely! Exactly as shown in pictures. My dogs had a blast. We drove up from Oxford and it was absolutely worth it. Grateful for such a pleasant first experience with Sniffspot 🐾🦴
I loveee this and my dogs went crazy over it. 100% gaited ur dog will not run off , it gets all their energy out and the pond is so good for them to swim and cool down :) will definitely be back !
Jean Ellen’s dog park is a beautiful place with lots of space and wonderful things for dogs to explore and sniff. It is very well maintained and my furry thoroughly enjoyed herself. I will definitely come back and would highly recommend!
The park is great for dogs, clean, and secure. As it was our first time here, we walked the fence to ensure the dogs could not escape (husky-proof!). There is more than plenty of space for running, and the pond is a good size for them to make short swim trips. It was also ideal to have the hose available to rinse the doggos at the end. Can't wait to have the opportunity to take them back!
First time using a sniff spot and this could not have been a better experience. Well maintained area and completely fenced. Chickens were very cute. Thank you so much for this awesome time with my pup.
Pups had such a great time! Wished I had booked for two hours- will definitely be back in the future
Awesome!! Great area for dogs. My dog loved seeing the chickens & I was so surprised he got in the pond!!! Awesome awesome awesomeeeee
Lovey backyard kept very clean and well maintained , my dog had an absolute BLAST!! It was peaceful and quite and i got so great pic with a beautiful background!
My rescue and his foster buddy had a blast! The area is beautiful and secure, I loved being able to let them run free and explore. We will definitely be back!
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 18% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Savannah area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 8 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 1 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
