Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use, enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-grace-e-s-mini-forest-ex9hrrp8?shareid=1ddvuyvr3yh Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little hike up our mini forest..

Hilly Pasture Paradise In Bothell

2024 UPDATE: We had to close our spot for 2 months because our iconic willow tree fell into the pasture breaking our fence. We have temporarily repaired the fencing amd planted a new young willow. There is one 12' section of fencing now that is only 4.5' tall and could be dug under by a determined dog due to poor fence tension for that section. Please beware and do not allow digging at the fenceline. Fence will be professionally repaired by the end of February. WINTER UPDATE: There is a pond in the pasture that may be frozen. The water is not deep but please exercise caution. Bring a towel as your dog may get muddy. -------- Two adjacent and connected pasture fenced yards totaling almost one acre including long grass, beautiful old trees and sloped terrain above and below. No known hazards aside from hilly terrain and some blackberry brambles. In rainy months Nov-April there is a shallow pond/wetland (bring a towel). Fencing is all new 5' agricultural fencing secure for dogs of all sizes. Enjoy the serene space with a creek and giant willow tree just beyond the fencing. Many songbirds too! Upper pasture features a playset with slides and swings. Two benches for sitting. Maybe not suitable for very tiny dogs due to eagles/ hawks. Private!!! Closed toed shoes recommended as well as mosquito repellent in summer especially at dawn and dusk. Hose may be available with advanced notice. Private driveway can be hard to find (follow instructions in welcome message). Construction may be occurring on site (PM with questions). *** If you are bringing a FOSTER DOG currently available for adoption please PM me for a discount code ***

Coolest Yard in Seattle!

NOTE: WEEKEND OF AUGUST 11TH, MY NEIGHBORS ARE HAVING A FAMILY REUNION. THERE ARE LARGE TENTS IN THE YARD. THERE WILL BE LOTS OF FOOT TRAFFIC AND NOISE COMING FROM NEXT DOOR. IF YOUR DOG IS SENSITIVE TO THOSE THINGS, PLEASE SKIP THIS WEEKEND. IF YOU DO BOOK AND PARKING IS DIFFICULT, YOURE WELCOME TO USE MY DRIVEWAY. Welcome to the coolest yard in Seattle! We have an agility course with a balance beam, an a-frame, weave poles and and a things for your dog to crawl under! Chuck It with TONS of tennis balls? Yup! Water cannons and a pool for your dogs? Check! A tug toy that you don't have to hold? Absolutely! Frisbee? We even got those! A platform for pictures? Why not! We've even got a shade tent for your pup! A bucket of sticks? If your dog is into that kinda thing! For the people? A cool and shaded patio with chairs and a table under the gorgeous trees in our yard! You're welcome to walk in the pool or climb the agility course 🤣 This backyard is made for the dogs! It's a quarter acre and completely fenced around the perimeter. If my Malinois can't escape, I doubt your dog can 🤣 There is one neighbor dog but he's very quiet and doesn't bark or bother my dogs when they're out! He hasn't bothered any of the sniffspot guests either. His name is Theo and he's a good boy that might come up to the fence. Don't worry, there's no gaps for him to say hello! We're conveniently located right off Aurora, near the Costco! Our neighborhood is very quiet! There is parking available off the street in a designated spot. It's shown in the pictures. It's a rocky parking spot. We have waters, sodas and some snacks available for the humans! Just let me know before you arrive and I'll put them on the table under the shade trees. Speaking of the beautiful shade trees! Those glorious things keep that area nice and cool! There will be a small table for your belongings and a couple of chairs to sit in! On the left side of the yard, near the house, are some obnoxious blackberry bushes that keep coming back no matter what I do. I think they grow from the neighbors side. We put up a privacy screen that's done well at keeping the dogs away from that area. While you're here, my personal dogs will be kept in the master bedroom and they're quiet! We hope your dog enjoys the yard as much as mine do! **Note about the pools: they are not dumped and cleaned between guests. That would be a huge waste of resources. We try to be as eco-friendly as possible! They are skimmed and vacuumed between guests though! The vacuuming does filter in fresh water. When you arrive, there may be some dirt settled at the bottom but the dogs don't care lol

Dog Nirvana is a Membership Spot. As a result most times show as unavailable as they are for members. Slots will sometimes be made available at the last minute if members aren't using them all. That typically happens the day of or the day before. If you would like to become a member please let us know if you would like to be placed on the membership waiting list. Come enjoy yourself in the country! We have over 10 fully fenced acres that include two spring-fed private ponds for dogs that like the water, some slight hills for running and playing, lots of wide open space and a beautiful creek. There will be no dogs, people or animals outside on my property during your visit. Please just bring your own toys and pick up after your dogs. I look forward to welcoming you! * The entire 10+ acre perimeter of the property is steel mesh fencing with poles and/or steel mesh fencing in horse fencing to keep the entire perimeter secure and safe. PLEASE NOTE there are TWO FENCING SYSTEMS here -- the internal pastures that are fenced in 3 rail white fencing and the perimeter fencing which consists of steel mesh to the ground and large log poles and/or 3 rail fencing with steel mesh down to the ground. The pasture fencing is located INSIDE of the separate property perimeter fencing. If a dog runs under the white interior pasture fencing they are still secured within the perimeter system. * The front gate and a service gate are metal with horizontal rails with 6.5 inches between each rail. Smaller dogs could potentially get out through the rails. A picture of the gate is included in listing photos so that guests can assess whether the gate will be an issue for them so they can determine whether this property will be appropriate for their pup(s). * This property is pretty secluded. Two sides of the property are surrounded by conservation land (woods), one by a quiet neighborhood road (with the only house set back and not visible while on my property) and the fourth (above the house and barn) by 60 acres in two parcels. The neighbors ' horses might be seen in the distance along the upper side of my property and you might hear their dogs barking from several acres away periodically. * Several pastures have covered horse sheds in them that can be used by visitors for shelter from rain or sun. * There is a dog dish for water, a container of water, poop bags and several garbage cans for doggie poop bags! * If you bring additional guests with pups PLEASE make sure they are aware of all information/rules shared in the listing and via message by the host. * Carey Creek runs along the entire south side of the lowest pasture. It is fully useable for guests. it is on my property but outside of our secure fences so if you go out the gates at the bottom of the property to get to the creek you should leash up if your dog has poor recall. * We have access across the road from the property to 1800 + acres with 30 miles of trails on Taylor Mountain (King County Park) so make it a day and come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 65-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 8 or 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far right and left over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. At the very bottom, the trails lead to a creek, on the left. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, and a cliff, and creek on the other. The lower part that connects to the creek area is not fenced. Note: that ‘Elephant Walk’ of wood rounds to the Creek is intended for dogs not people - it’s muddy - use at your discretion. The safer option is to the south. Bring more than one dog, if possible, because they love to chase each other around the switchback trails. This forest was clear-cut between 65 to 100 years ago and not replanted. So we replanted our forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, and Pacific Northwest duff with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared it as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest, occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, mice, raccoons, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are here, starlings, chickadees, woodpeckers, hawks, and American Bald Eagles. There are moles thus mole holes because it is a delightfully rugged private area so you must be careful where you step until you get used to the signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest 1 mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. Garbage is available on the way out under the Big Leaf Maple tree at the driveway in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". The creek is accessible over an embankment, also is part of the property, use at your discretion. We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it soon! 2 Starbucks less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) P.S. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may wish keep your pup leashed until you are safely at the top of the path. When departing, on either side of the trails, at the top you can pause to leash your dog if you wish.

You Can Borrow My Yard in Snohomish

Although we welcome dogs of all sizes, we believe our space is the perfect size for small to medium dogs. No other dogs will be in the yard or in sight during your time here. However, you may occasionally hear the English Bulldog that lives next door. We have an aquatic turtle in a small pond in the corner of the yard. We do have that area behind a little fence. We are happy to bring the turtle inside if you ask us before your visit. We have synthetic pet turf, which is more sanitary, and keeps your dog mud and dirt-free. It also eliminates most bugs, pests, and the need for pesticides or chemicals. Plus, the dogs love rolling and playing on it! We provide dog toys, puzzle games, a ball pit, tunnel, tether tug, two kiddie pools, agility equipment, a fresh-water station, and a dog waste station. (bags included) We have a strawberry patch that runs the length of the yard, up on a small retaining wall. Please know that it is OK for your dog to go up there, run through there, and pick the strawberries if there are any. We do not harvest the berries for ourselves, and all of the dogs seem to like exploring that area. Please feel free to park in the empty spot in the driveway, or on the street in front of the house. You may enter and exit through either of our gates on each side of the house. The gate on the left side of the house is wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions or concerns, please text me at (425) 249-6171. Located less than two minutes from Willis Tucker Park, you might want to make it an outing and take advantage of the park's amenities after your dog's private time here. The park has a children's play area, picnic spots, baseball fields, trails, open fields, and their own on and off-leash dog areas. We hope you enjoy our space, and we are happy to share it with you and your dog! Tanya

Carly's property was a lovely weekend outing for me and my dog! The yard was clean, spacious, secure, and LOADED with fun things (toys, pools, and trees galore). My usually-timid dog was immediately enthralled and wasn't the slightest bit on edge. To top it off, there were chairs set up for us "dog moms" to sit and rest. Carly was accommodating and flexible when my booking changed the day before and was unbelievably welcoming in person. We will be back!

Carly’s property is gorgeous! Lots of room to run and explore on a big green hill as well as other open spaces dotted with trees and shrubs. There was plenty of fresh clean water, a million balls, chuk its and frisbees as well as a tether tug and tunnel. We walked the perimeter of the fenced in property around and around while playing fetch and jumping around the tree bases. It was very quiet, such a beautiful space.

A lovely spot to take your dogs! Carly, the host, could not have been nicer - meeting us for our first visit, giving tips about the yard, filling a fresh bowl of water, and greeting our dogs. The yard was clean, safely fenced, and had toys for our dogs to play with.

April 2022
This was our first ever Sniffspot visit and it’s going to be tough to beat! There was so much room to run and play. Open spaces, trees, hills, flat, you name it! It was incredibly clean and beautiful. Carly, the host, was very gracious and put out toys for the dogs to play with. My pup left happy and exhausted. It was well worth the drive and we can’t wait to go back!

Great Sniffspot! My dog loved sniffing around, playing with the wide variety of toys, and learning how to use the agility tunnel.

April 2022
This was a lovely space with a very nice host who greeted us as we drove down the driveway despite us arriving late. In reserving this place I personally made an error as I overlooked the type of fencing for the perimeter. From past experience with our dog plowing through a deer fence we have learned our female malinois’s eye sight is impaired. I didn’t want to risk possibility of ruining Carly’s space and deer fencing. I appreciate Carly for lending us her space and time in prepping it for our arrival; thus I insisted they keep the fee. For all the fellow malinois owners out there … just another day in the Mal Life.

What a delightful spot! My dogs are very different - one young and spry and one old and rickety. This is a great spot for both - toys and lots of room to run ragged and some gentle hills and plush grass in the sun and shade. We can’t wait to come back!

This was our first ever Sniff Spot & I 10/10 recommend! The host came out to greet us, close the gate & then let us be. There’s water, a pooper scooper, a fire hydrant trash can, tons of toys, and tons of space to run around in. My dogs were so tired by the end of it. We’ll definitely be back!

FAQ about our Sultan dog agility parks

Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.

There are 30 dog agility parks in the Sultan area. The most popular dog agility park is Mark's Private Dog Park In Woodinville. You can browse all of our dog agility parks here.
How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
