WARNING FOR 5/17-5/19: The airshow is going on this weekend and many of the planes fly directly over our house which can be incredibly loud. The show goes from 12:30p to about 4p-4:30p but I don’t know if they’ll be practicing before and/or after. This may be scary to some dogs. If you’d still like to come, I suggest bringing ear plugs 😉 If you come and it doesn’t work out then we can set another time for you to come and I’ll make sure that you don’t get charged again. Note: If you stay longer than 1/2 the time you’ve reserved then it will be assume that it did work out for you and you will not be given a rescheduled time at no charge. Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are starting out, but expect to make it a lot more fun as the weather improves. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. We now have a place for your humans to wash you when you leave the sniffspot area. It is currently set up with kiddie pool, shower head and hose, with lavender wipes as well. Hand sanitizer now available for humans to use. In the summer, there will be lots of water and hoses available for getting water and there will be bowls too! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect yet, but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that I have not gotten filled between visits and I will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let me know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Come play or just hang out and relax at our peaceful quiet 3 fully fenced acres with a seasonal creek loads of open space to play fetch or just romp around. There is a kiddy pool available for splashing (seasonally)and a tunnel, weave poles, teeter totter, shute, tunnels and some other toys available. If you are lucky you could see deer elk or even an eagle or the cow's next door. There are chairs to sit in out in the back pasture in the shade.

30 unfenced acres of tall grass and trees a bit swampy in the lower area in the winter. But quiet and lovely. Lots of fruits you are welcome too in the summer and fall. Also home to deer and birds (who prefer to be left alone). Couple of comfy chairs and a table to enjoy a glass with the sunset. Please be respectful of our neighbors, and pick up after your selves and your pups. Much of the property is being reforested please do not disturb the trees and shrubs.

Sapphire Point is an unfenced, private, 10 acres with excellent mountain views, hiking trails, and seasonal creek. This location provides your pup, and you, access to uninterrupted forest land with expansive mountain views and many fun new smells. The three primary trails are marked with pink ribbons and the property perimeter is marked with white ribbons for easy navigation. Hiking the slopes can be a workout for us humans, so let yourself rest at the different benches while your pup plays. You're invited to pack a little snack and make it part of your adventure.

This is a 5 acre farm with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross fenced allowing for room to explore but not too far. We have a small herd of sheep, a cow and 3 Horses that offer some additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are used to the dogs being around and even barking at them so they don't respond and generally the dogs get bored of them and move onto exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. We are excited to have you come and share this special place with us. Run your four legged family ragged in our 8 acer grass field at the foot of our gorgeous vineyard. With grape vines over a half-century old, Kristin Hill Winery is deeply rooted in the Eola-Amity Hills. Kristin Hill Winery embraces old-world wine-making styles with traditional European oak barrel-aging which builds depth and character while highlighting the grapes themselves. We have two designated gravel RV spots to the side of our field and we will sometimes have guests, with and without dogs. This is a working farm and we have crews and farm equipment that work much of the time. While you will be in a designated area it might be a little noisy from time to time. Update as we approach harvest: Fall is harvest time in the vineyard! With this we will be limiting our availability. Welcome to our Wooded Wonderland! Enjoy our private 2-acre unfenced backyard with plenty of room to play, run, and swim. Rock Creek runs through our property, so if your pup loves we to get wet or swim, this is the place to be. This is a family home with folks living in it. Depending on when you book, you’ll most likely see us in the house going about our business; you can see from the photos, the separation between our house and where you and your pup will be playing will give you ample privacy. During the rainy, cold winter months, this SniffSpot can get pretty muddy. Additionally, we don’t rake our leaves as they bring nutrients back into the soil as they break down. So, wear shoes that will keep your feet dry! The stairs and deck are off-limits at this time for everyone's safety. During the summertime, feel free to enjoy the abundance of wild blackberries and plums. If you're lucky, you may spot the bald eagles who nest on our property! Please note that our property is next to a busy road. But there is plenty of space to run and play that does not require you or your pup to be near it.

It's a 10-acre property with several trails through rustic wooded areas and a large Field of Dreams (with an overlook) to enjoy. You (human) will get a pretty decent walk in along with your dog! Disappear into the woods with your doggo pack and explore the property. The main trail through the woods is a little over a quarter mile long, and there is plenty to sniff and explore along the trail. It is a hike with some slight inclines, but nothing very strenuous. The woods are very quiet and serene, but they are also robust and eagerly await your adventures! We recommend starting on the main trail that begins behind the barn and then either exploring more trails on the way to the field, or just heading directly to the field for wide-open fun. The Field of Dreams fluctuates between being mowed and having areas of tall grass. Deer visit our field regularly, so hopefully, your pack will find some interesting things to sniff. There is a sitting area on the field for you to rest while your pack runs like the wind, explores, fetches, or simply enjoys the day. There are several other small, interesting trails to explore and reconnect with nature. Just follow the map and signs. Make sure you snap a pic by the Guard Shack and read its history. Inside the shack are some interesting feathers to smell. All trails are marked. We have several dogs that have a small fenced yard by the house, however, we keep the dogs inside when we have Sniffspot visitors. Occasionally, you might hear them bark when visiting, but generally, they are tucked away and occupied when we have Sniffspot guests. We are working on a few projects around the property, mostly on the house to include rebuilding the deck. You may occasionally see us up at the house working on one project or another, but we are respectful of your privacy. Located atop Dixie Mountain, the drive up is filled with snatches of lovely views of the surrounding mountains and Portland (weather dependent). The view is especially gorgeous if you mosey up from Highway 30. There certainly is a lot to do, see, and smell on Dixie Mountain! We hope you will come see us. ****************************************************************************************************** In August of 2023, we were in southern Alabama visiting our son who is in the US Army. He found two abandoned puppies at a deserted boat ramp and after trying to find them homes for two weeks, our only options were to turn them into a kill shelter or bring them home to Oregon. After bringing home these two abandoned puppies from Alabama, where there is a definite crisis facing abandoned animals and a shortage of space at no-kill shelters, we felt a calling to help our no-kill shelters here in Oregon. I feel strongly about supporting our local shelters and spreading the donations around. All profits from my Sniffspot are donated to local shelters, which rotate. Hello! I have a beautiful old cattle ranch turned into a homestead farm with current room for dogs to run and play! There are three pasture options to choose from with all three being fully fenced. We do have chickens and ducks so we greatly appreciate keeping your furry friends away from our birds. There is water available on site in multiple spots as well.
