Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are starting out, but expect to make it a lot more fun as the weather improves. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. We now have a place for your humans to wash you when you leave the sniffspot area. It is currently set up with kiddie pool, shower head and hose, with lavender wipes as well. Hand sanitizer now available for humans to use. In the summer, there will be lots of water and hoses available for getting water and there will be bowls too! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect yet, but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that I have not gotten filled between visits and I will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let me know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Come play or just hang out and relax at our peaceful quiet 3 fully fenced acres with a seasonal creek loads of open space to play fetch or just romp around. There is a kiddy pool available for splashing (seasonally)and a tunnel, weave poles, teeter totter, shute, tunnels and some other toys available. If you are lucky you could see deer elk or even an eagle or the cow's next door. There are chairs to sit in out in the back pasture in the shade.

30 unfenced acres of tall grass and trees a bit swampy in the lower area in the winter. But quiet and lovely. Lots of fruits you are welcome too in the summer and fall. Also home to deer and birds (who prefer to be left alone). Couple of comfy chairs and a table to enjoy a glass with the sunset. Please be respectful of our neighbors, and pick up after your selves and your pups. Much of the property is being reforested please do not disturb the trees and shrubs.

This is a 5 acre farm with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross fenced allowing for room to explore but not too far. We have a small herd of sheep, a cow and 3 Horses that offer some additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are used to the dogs being around and even barking at them so they don't respond and generally the dogs get bored of them and move onto exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. We are excited to have you come and share this special place with us. The wet weather has arrived! There is standing water in the lower section that most dogs think is a blast to run through! You may want to bring a towel (and some rain boots for yourself if you’d like to walk the property). Fully fenced area with beautiful views. A great space for all dogs with all energy levels. There is some standing water in parts of the fields during rainy seasons. Please pick up after your dogs. There are fruit trees on site. Feel free to take as much as you would like for yourself, your livestock or for compost! If you loved your visit, please share your experience with family and friends! **Interesting ecological fact if you see rainbow coloring on top of some of the standing water… it is NOT from chemicals or an oil slick. Here’s the explanation. 🙂 A common naturally occurring oily sheen originates from the seed cones of cypress trees. The cones usually fall into the water below the cypress, and an obvious rainbow sheen forms on the surface around the seed pod. In puddles of woodlands or around the edges of stagnant or very slowly moving water, it is common to find sheens covering the water in and about leaves and other vegetation. It is tempting to wonder what form of pollution resulted in the sheens, but the answer is microscopic - and natural. Tiny iron-loving bacteria of many types may be involved. A common tale is that some species of bacteria that live in areas with no oxygen (anaerobic conditions) get their energy by converting Ferric Iron (Fe III) to Ferrous Iron (Fe II) (chemists call this process reduction). As the Ferrous Iron moves through the ground water, it encounters water with oxygen, chemically fuses with the oxygen (chemists call this oxidation), then precipitates (separates from the water) and floats on the surface as a colorful sheen. There are species of bacteria that may help accelerate the oxidation process, and the most common is Theobacillis ferroxidans. At times, a significant area of the water’s surface may be covered and the sheen is as reflective as a mirror, having little rainbow-effect.

Run your four legged family ragged in our 8 acer grass field at the foot of our gorgeous vineyard. With grape vines over a half-century old, Kristin Hill Winery is deeply rooted in the Eola-Amity Hills. Kristin Hill Winery embraces old-world wine-making styles with traditional European oak barrel-aging which builds depth and character while highlighting the grapes themselves. We have two designated gravel RV spots to the side of our field and we will sometimes have guests, with and without dogs. This is a working farm and we have crews and farm equipment that work much of the time. While you will be in a designated area it might be a little noisy from time to time. Update as we approach harvest: Fall is harvest time in the vineyard! With this we will be limiting our availability. It's a 10-acre property with several trails through rustic wooded areas and a large Field of Dreams (with an overlook) to enjoy. You (human) will get a pretty decent walk in along with your dog! Disappear into the woods with your doggo pack and explore the property. The main trail through the woods is a little over a quarter mile long, and there is plenty to sniff and explore along the trail. It is a hike with some slight inclines, but nothing very strenuous. The woods are very quiet and serene, but they are also robust and eagerly await your adventures! We recommend starting on the main trail that begins behind the barn and then either exploring more trails on the way to the field, or just heading directly to the field for wide-open fun. The Field of Dreams fluctuates between being mowed and having areas of tall grass. Deer visit our field regularly, so hopefully, your pack will find some interesting things to sniff. There is a sitting area on the field for you to rest while your pack runs like the wind, explores, fetches, or simply enjoys the day. There are several other small, interesting trails to explore and reconnect with nature. Just follow the map and signs. Make sure you snap a pic by the Guard Shack and read its history. Inside the shack are some interesting feathers to smell. All trails are marked. We have several dogs that have a small fenced yard by the house, however, we keep the dogs inside when we have Sniffspot visitors. Occasionally, you might hear them bark when visiting, but generally, they are tucked away and occupied when we have Sniffspot guests. We are working on a few projects around the property, mostly on the house to include rebuilding the deck. You may occasionally see us up at the house working on one project or another, but we are respectful of your privacy. Located atop Dixie Mountain, the drive up is filled with snatches of lovely views of the surrounding mountains and Portland (weather dependent). The view is especially gorgeous if you mosey up from Highway 30. There certainly is a lot to do, see, and smell on Dixie Mountain! We hope you will come see us. ****************************************************************************************************** In August of 2023, we were in southern Alabama visiting our son who is in the US Army. He found two abandoned puppies at a deserted boat ramp and after trying to find them homes for two weeks, our only options were to turn them into a kill shelter or bring them home to Oregon. After bringing home these two abandoned puppies from Alabama, where there is a definite crisis facing abandoned animals and a shortage of space at no-kill shelters, we felt a calling to help our no-kill shelters here in Oregon. I feel strongly about supporting our local shelters and spreading the donations around. All profits from my Sniffspot are donated to local shelters, which rotate. Hello! I have a beautiful old cattle ranch turned into a homestead farm with current room for dogs to run and play! There are three pasture options to choose from with all three being fully fenced. We do have chickens and ducks so we greatly appreciate keeping your furry friends away from our birds. There is water available on site in multiple spots as well.

3 acres fully fenced with 8 ft fence. Goats may be in adjacent field. Creek with small day cabin available. Bring water bottles as water is not accessible on back fields. Water is available at our barn area. Site is rustic!!!! Wear hiking shoes. Cabin is along the creek.

If your pup likes water this spot is perfect for you. There will be goats in the area they are nice. They will leave you alone. Located in Beautiful Helvetia. Enjoy the main back yard (fire pit/chairs/ hammock in the summer) fruit trees or the back pasture for longer ball throwing. Both are fully fenced! (Outside water is shut off in the winter) due to pipes freezing. PLEASE use back pasture too where the logs are at!! Go through the right gate! Lift it up and push. Fully fenced back there.

Welcome to my home ~4 Acre Dog Farm~ away from the city, but not too far! This sniff spot is not fully fenced in. The space is huge and I haven't had any issues with my dogs running off. About 3 sides are fenced in and there isn't a lot of traffic on the road. **Please note: the neighbor along the back of the field has a gate that is sometimes open. Their dog cannot get out of their yard because he is on an invisible fence. He is outside about 50% of the time. If your dog is reactive, and does not have good recall, PLEASE stay away from the back corner. I don't want guest dogs entering my neighbors yard and attacking their dog. If your dog is friendly towards other dogs and happens to wonder through the back gate - It's not a big deal. Bobby is a friendly Golden Retriever.

This is a working horse facility, but we love dogs too! All the good sniffs at our outside riding area! We have jumps and obstacles that we use for the horses, and dogs will like them too. Lots of squirrels (please don’t let your dogs dig for them in the flower garden) and other wildlife around. There are gates at the location, but maybe not suitable if your dog can get through it (see photos). The creek is year-round and accessible via a trail. On-leash for sure in this area I’d say. Easy access off Hwy 22 10 minutes west of Dallas, OR
