Our dogs had so much fun!!! It is definitely very muddy in the winter time so bring your rain boots and something to wipe your pup off with! Nathan the host is super sweet and helpful and you can tell he loves dogs!

My dogs and kids both had a great time! There is a series of two gates to enter the pasture. Upon entering we were greeted with a bowl of water, dog biscuits, poop bags and a bucket of sticks and balls. In walking the perimeter, it appeared very secure. To our delight a bevy of goats and a couple of roosters came out for some fun in their enclosure. My dogs were delighted by the new smells and room to run. Pasture was mown and despite a few mole hills and divets, it is in great shape! Thank you. We will definitely be back.

This spot is amazing! There is a portapotty and hand washing station, poop bags, balls, trash can and even treats for your dog. The goats were fun to watch and didn’t seem to mind my dogs’ interest in them. The entrance to the gates is muddy so if you have strong dogs intrigued by the goats- beware, it’s slippery. Close to home, we will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. I was able to walk there with my dog and he loved it! The chickens and goats were of unending fascination. The goats were as interested in my dog as he was I them and they didn’t mind his barking at them! There were tennis balls and sticks to toss, treats for your dog, poop bags, and a large trash can to deposit bags. A full bowl of water awaited! Huge, wide open space!  We will return often!

What an amazing property! The goats were super friendly and the dogs did great, only one bark. The toys were fantastic and the doggos loved playing fetch. Our boys apparently need to visit more often as they were done after 20 mins. We are just a short walk away and plan to visit again. Thank you for opening up your property.

This is a wonderful spot to play. Items available: sticks, balls, poop bags, covered garbage can, picnic table, treats even! Oh, and a porta potty! Can't tell you how convenient that is. Big open space to toss the ball far. Two things to know: small dogs will be able to crawl under the fence to get in the goat pen. And, GPS takes you to a neighborhood that backs up against the sniffspot where you cannot access this house. Instead, turn right onto a dirt road just before Silverspot Drive (if coming from downtown Tumwater). Then it's the first house on the left. Very nice host.

Just as advertised. Nice clean porta potti and wash station on site. Enough room for your dog to really run and get a good aerobic workout. My dog enjoyed the site. I will bring her back.

SO much fun! It had literally everything we could need and more. It’s my dogs first birthday and she had the time of her life. There were spots to dig, hose off, climb, run, train. There was clean water and toys. Great sitting areas . And I really liked how everything had easy to see signs so that we could find the turn and parking easily. The literally only thing is that you should prepare for swatting off flies, but it’s summer outside so bugs are a given anywhere. I brought my own tent canopy type thing with netting to keep the bugs out so we had little interruptions to our fun

This was our first time renting out a Sniffspot and wow, it did not disappoint! Our boy had the best time with all the variety of toys and obstacles to play with. The yard was spacious and clean, and easy to find. We will definitely be booking here again in the very near future!

I was really impressed with this spot! It was my first tike using a sniffspot and my dog Nutmeg was able to roam free, explore, be curious, and there were tons of different toys for her to choose from. It was fully enclosed, I had no worries of her running off after checking the perimeter. Took away all my stresses of finding a place where she could safely roam, play and get her energy out. Water bowl was there and a hose to fill it with fresh water as well as shady spots to cool down from all the running she did in the heat. It was also really quiet and peaceful, only heard 1 dog bark in the distance for a short time in the whole hour I was there.

This sniff spot never ceases to amaze us! There is often new things for the dogs to play with and of all things their favorites are the dirt pile and the rope chew hanging in the tree! The added privacy fencing is another bonus especially with more reactive dogs! Love, love, love this spot!

I brought my 3 dogs for an hour and they had the best time! The space was nice and clean, had water and balls to play with, shaded areas if needed, and fun things to play on. I wish I had been aware of this spot earlier. I suspect we'll become regulars and will be back soon.

FAQ about our Waterville dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Waterville area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 34 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 7 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
