This backyard oasis was built for my Golden Retriever, Cooper. He enjoyed romping around in the grass, climbing over the rocks, and most especially swimming in the pool! It makes my heart happy to share this with other pups and their humans. Safe and secure for pups of all shapes and sizes. Humans need to be careful on natural stone steps to the pool. The pool is 12' x 24' and the depth ranges from 3' to 6'. This is a three tired backyard. The entrance has a small patio, the pool deck then an expansive lawn area below. Plenty of room for running and playing! There is also a bathroom in the basement.

Please remember - it needs to be added as an “extra” and there is a limit of 3 dogs in the pool for the longevity of our filter and pump :) There has been some confusion around booking the pool - you need to book the yard for at least as long as you book the yard. The yard blocks the spot on the calendar, not the pool. For example, if you book the yard for 90 minutes, the longest you can book the pool is 90 minutes (you can book the pool for less (e.g. 60 min or 30 min) if you prefer. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. There is also a kiddie pool for use. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Now for the Debbie Downer part - as the spot has gotten more popular, we are seeing things getting damaged and, as a result, have added a few rules. If you damage something, please let us know so we can address it. Things happen, so do not worry, we just need to know so we take care of it before the next guest. Pool rules: 1) No dogs on the pool furniture 2) Please do not prop the pool gate open Let us know if you have any questions! They won’t be back there when the yard is rented. Please make sure to read the directions for parking and where to enter the backyard entrance as it is a bit hidden. Please go down Littlefield Rd. Take the first left onto an unmarked street. You will see a middle school field on your right. Our metal gate entrance is on your left. When school is in session please park on Littlefield or Winston Rd. Otherwise you can pull up to the gate. The Bran & Honey Spot

**Summer: The times of day with the most shade are 8:30a-11a and after 4p. The yard is in complete shade after 6:30 pm. Middle of the day 11:30a-2:30p is the most sunny time. **Outdoor lighting: There is a hardwired flood light that is motion activated and will remain on for 15 minute increments if not triggered by further motion. Pups moving about trigger the light so it will remain on your entire visit after dark! There are solar-powered string lights that give off a subtle glow. There are also solar-powered motion activated lights along the fence line that are also triggered by the pups. See spot photos for examples of the yard after dark! Welcome! Sniffspot holds a special place in my heart. My dog, Bran, is reactive and it was a life saver having a safe space to bring him and his sister, Miss Honey, to play! As an avid Sniffspot guest, I wanted to return the favor once I got a fully fenced in yard and host. My dogs love all the sniff action it brings too! Enjoy!
