We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees won't be out until April but please avoid the hives anyway. Hello, I’m Paisley. I’m of course a huge dog lover and believe good dogs are typically well exercised dogs. I ran a dog walking business for 6 years in London and noticed the dog parks were getting very busy and not always an ideal spot to bring your pooch to exercise during busy times. I’m happy to open up my yard for you and your dog to have a more private experience. My own dogs will be inside during your visits although you may hear them bark when you arrive. I’m always happy to receive any feedback good or bad so I can improve my yard for your next visit. Don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions or need anything. - Please do not allow your dog to urinate on our patio furniture or home. - The deck/turf area is not for use. - Please pick up after your pet. - Be sure to lock the gate with the carabiner clip when using the yard to ensure nobody accidentally opens it or the wind doesn’t blow it open. Also there is a tap near the gate that you can fill your dogs bowl incase your dog/dogs get thirsty. We have provided a tote full of toys and balls that your dog/dogs can play with. Plus the backyard has lots of different things that will be exciting for your dog/dogs to experience. There is an extra that you can select when booking your time slot called treats and if you select that extra then we will hide treats for your arrival! Lots of street parking near our house and the bag hanging on our tree is for any poop bags you may have. If you have any questions please let us know!

***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. 60 acres of fields, trails, ponds, and forests. Trails are more like hiking in the woods and not suited for bikes or any other equipment. Large pond where your dogs would love to swim for hours. Sorry for safety reasons the Paddle boats are not for public use. Enjoy. Rubber boots strongly recommended. This is a large property, eat well before arrival.

***All charges are in USD*** Our 1,000+ sq foot indoor training room + 500+ sq foot partially covered potty yard is for rent. Some Training obstacles are available for use during the room rental. Slatmill for dogs included for rental use (please bring your own harness if you plan on using it). Spring pole in our covered potty yard is availed for use, it comes with a ball but you may bring any toy attachment you like. Wall climb is also included in rental (you will need to bring your own Velcro style wall climb toy, belay rope available for larger dogs who can’t be caught). Lots of parking available. No access to bathrooms. Clean up supplies for accidents provided, water tap available for dogs, please bring your own bowl. Please note, our 2nd potty yard at the far side is not currently available for use. Please do NOT use crate in room (you may bring your own if needed). Please wear indoor shoes.

On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season (November to May). The main are back up. This season we will also be placing picnic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast! Fencing Details: The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc) and cedar posts. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gates on the main photo or on “safety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos). Nestled in the heart of our tranquil backyard, our pool offers a serene escape for dogs and their owners alike. Designed with love, it’s the perfect size for dogs of all breeds to swim comfortably and safely. The pool is equipped with easy-access steps. The deep end of the pool is approximately 5 feet deep and the shallowest part is approximately 3 feet deep. While your fur baby enjoys the pool, relax on our poolside loungers or on patio chairs shaded under an umbrella. Doggy lifejackets will not be available on site but it is recommended to bring your own. Please bring your own dog toys/balls and towels. Please note the pool is a chlorine pool. There is a hose available if you would like to rinse off your dog after swimming.
