Our 0.5-acre fully fenced private pasture offers plenty of space to run, sniff, explore, and play—all with beautiful views of North Table Mountain and room to roam. We created Waffles Ranch because we know how valuable it can be to have a safe, private place where dogs can truly stretch their legs, train, and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your pup loves zoomies, chasing scents, practicing new skills, or simply relaxing in a quieter environment, we hope you'll feel at home here. Guests are welcome to enjoy our splash pad, dog pool, fresh water station, bowls, toys, waste bags, towels, and agility equipment, including jumps, weave poles, and a tunnel. Unwind under the pine trees in our shaded seating area, complete with two chairs and a coffee table (and don't worry if your pup hops on the table—ours certainly does!). For your comfort, the pasture and seating area are treated periodically with pet-safe products to help reduce mosquitoes and make outdoor play more enjoyable for both dogs and humans. Accessibility note: Waffles Ranch includes an upper grassy area with shade and seating, accessible by stairs. Dogs with mobility limitations or joint issues may prefer to remain in the lower pasture. This would be so greatly appreciated! • No digging, please! We want to keep the yard in great shape for all visitors. • Supervise your dog at all times. This ensures safety for your pet and respect for the space. • We typically leave a fresh bowl of water out for our doggie guests. If you happen to see the water bowl is not filled up, it’s because we weren’t home during your booking time to fill fresh water. You have full permission to access the hose to fill the water bowl with fresh water. • Treat the space with care. This is our family’s yard, and we’re happy to share it with respectful guests! Right now we have 2 large camp chairs set up but should be getting patio furniture at some point so it will be a little more comfortable. I have a Chuck-it and some other toys that you are welcome to play with and use. There is a water bowl out back and if it is empty or the dogs drink it all up, then there is a hose you can use to fill it up.

It’s a little small (mom says she’s “easing me into it”), but if you’re into water, go for it. If you like chasing squirrels, you’re in luck. They are everywhere! Seriously. It’s kind of my specialty. And as for grasshoppers… let’s just say I’ve handled that situation. Those things are annoying, so I take care of them myself. Mom also offers extra playtime with me (you should definitely choose this—I already know I love you, it’s just how I am). The smells coming from there are my favorite, 10/10, but she put a fence around everything so you will have to sniff from afar. 🐶

The surface is a packed sandy soil with dry groundcover during dry Summer, Fall, and Winter months, and mowed natural vegetation during the Spring and wetter Summer months. A walk around the interior fence line is about a quarter mile so it is great for the active dog owner too. This Sniffspot is a close, rural ambiance location in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. The Training Yard The Training Yard is a 60’ x 30’ fenced yard with a Dog Tuff ™ grass surface. This is a unique grass designed with dogs and drought tolerance in mind. The Training Yard is a place for your focused training. You can also use this area as a cool down area after playing in the field. And of course, this is a great yard for my guests with smaller paw prints. Please be mindful that you may want to roll in this grass with your dogs as I do with mine, so please spend time in the field area to potty your dogs before entering the Training Yard. The yard is completely enclosed, fully turfed, access to water/toys and treats. I have lights hung for evening visits too! There is a couch/chairs and tables you can help yourself too.
