We adopted Rico with heartworms earlier this year and have spent the past 7 months nursing him back to health. He wasn’t able to even play indoors on his treatment, so we dreamt of the day we could let him run free. This was the place of our dreams! We drove 40 minutes from Orlando to Mt. Dora and it was a very easy commute. Easy to get to down a dirt path, and into the lot. Perfect fencing, he couldn’t try to get out if he wanted to. And he didn’t! So much space to run. The grounds are perfect and really free of any bugs and very minimal ants or hazards that our curious boy could get into. We loved the full tub of cold water, Rico went to it when he needed to and it was perfect for him. The property has an amazing agility course I’d love to try to get Rico to learn. They provided also balls and a ball launcher and now we’re looking to get our own for him. Perfect toys to throw back and forth. Plenty of shade and places for humans and dogs to sit.
